Looks like many of the swim times are at 12 and 1pm. We should plan on trying to leave the pier around the same time - maybe 9:30am or 10am and all share taxi vans. You know, safety in numbers! Then we can get some group and family photos when we get there (and still looking fresh!:rotfl2:)
Here's some more details for those who booked it on their own, not thru DCL:
"The snorkel equipment is not included; it is available to rent for $15.00 USD per gear.

The transportation is not included, every one has to take a taxi and it is approximately $15. - $20 USD per cab and the taxi fits 4 people unless there are more than 4 then you will need a van and the fare is approx. $35 - $40 USD to the national park Chankanaab. "

Also, towels are not available there (showers are) and those can be picked up by the pool on deck 9 prior to the excursion. Just remember to return them back to the ship.

Also, there are several of us adults that are not doing the dolphin swim, so if others might want to join us and just enjoy Chaakanaab, even for half day, its only $16. Plus there's a $2 off coupon on their website! http://www.cozumelparks.com/

Meeting and sharing taxi's is a GREAT idea :thumbsup2. I agree :scared1: safety in #'s, the same way as when we go back to the ship.

I would love to meet at 9:00 or so and grab a ride to share with someone :grouphug:.

Fresh Photo's - Perfect Suggestion and I could not agree more, much better than looking like a wet dog afterwards, :woohoo: we need those frameable and scapbooking photo's!

Are you going to organize this for us :worship:????

I didn't know you could request I thought there was only one time for Main and one time for Late.

Nope- there are 3 times for each:
5:30/5:45/6:00 main
8:00/8:15/8:30 late

7 day Western Cruises [per 1/30/09]
PLAAPLA 5:30 and 8:00
LAPPLAP 5:45 and 8:15
APLLAPL 6:00 and 8:30

I'll be glad to be the organizer. Maybe we can meet somewhere on the ship (just like they do for DCL excursions, 'cept ours will be a Dis excursion.:rotfl2:) and disembark all together. I'll have to take a look at the ship areas to figure a good meeting place unless someone has a suggestion. Then we can have another meet up at the park for those that want to go back to the ship earlier. Of course our group of 9 has the 3:30pm royal swim (3 swimmers, 6 observers :goodvibes) and we won't be leaving till 4:30pm or so. So for the early diners, that may be too late to get ready for dinner. Although, it is pirate night, and by the time we are all done with the swim, snorkel, excursion and nice and sunburned, we may all look like a bunch of grungie pirates pirate: and will fit right in for dinner! :lmao:

Sounds good!! We will probably go to Chankanab right after breakfast, and then hang there until our encounter at 1pm- DH wants to eat some enchiladas- so we'll probably eat lunch at there.

Tell me what the abbreviations stand for to this again? I am trying to figure out if my brunch or morning spa ressie might affect the day of character dining. Of course its all dependent on which rotation we get. We can only request, but it is not a sure thing. I found response to day of character meal on the boards (came from a frequent cruiser moderator): "It is the first sea day you eat dinner in PC [or the first sea day after you have dinner in AP...same difference really."

Never mind, I figured it out. I'm a little slow sometimes. :goodvibes Does anyone know if the rotations are changed often or do they stay the same?
I'm really liking the 8pm rotations! :woohoo: Just hoping for some :wizard: that we get it! If anyone wants to link up dining ressies with us, we would love the company! There are 5 of us.:goodvibes

What's everybody doing this weekend? Anything good? I have a birthday party tomorrow for one of DD's cousins- it is always a huge family event for us to get together. Lots of hyper kids in a big hall!!

LOL!!
I know I was hoping for some good company at dinner too, if anyone is interested in eating at 6pm- with a family of 3(DH/myself/and a DD6) let me know- and I'll see if we can link our reservations(someone on our last cruise did this- so all of us Dis-ser's sat together)- especially someone with close aged kids.

I've got a big customer/host appreciation event with my business that I am holding on Sunday. I need to get off these boards, and start organizing some things!:lmao:

Do you happen to know what time the stage show is each night?

Yeah- you better get busy!!:surfweb::surfweb::surfweb:
I think I'm going to get my magnetic paper to make my magnets tonight.

So has anyone on Main dining or late requested a dining time. I called DCL and requested 6pm rotation- we had 5:30 last time and it seemed a little early. It is just a request, but we'll see if it happens.

We are still on the 'wait list' for early  I don't like late seating!
