Well my DS is doing much better. He was able to go to school today.

I am headed to Dallas here in a little while. I have my follow up with my surgeon, it was supposed to be Tuesday but due to the weather it was rescheduled to today. We are staying the night and I am surprising Zane and taking him to Medieval Times tonight, he loves it there. Also, my brother who lives in Ft.Worth now that Zane really misses is going to meet us there. It should be fun

My cruise info packet arrived today. It indicates I can make my excursion and Palo reservations on March 15th . I am looking forward to meeting the folks from this group on board. Please let me know what plans are being made for a meet. We want to participate in the FE also. I am hoping my 14 year old DD can meet someone there to hang out with during the cruise. We are getting ready for the festivities tomorrow night, living in and being from Pittsburgh. Please include us on the first page list and if possible include us in the facebook communication ( as I do not have enough posts yet I can not send a PM).

I have a DS age 14 going and it would be great to have them be friends!!!

This is the smallest DIS group I have ever been a part of so I am hopingthat the positive side of that is I get to know everyone!!!! I have been swamped at work and I am gearing up for Spring sports... My oldest will be playing Rec Soccer and School Lacrosse so we will be running like crazy. He has turned into a TRUE TEENAGER AAAHHHHH!!!!!
I can't seem to say anything right!

This is our second Disney Cruise. We did a 4 day in May 07. We liked it so much we booked a dummy date on board with the intention of sailing this summer. I Know a lot of people were diappointed the Magic stayed in the Carribean this summer but we relly wanted to do a Western and could not arrange it for the school year. DD really objects to missing school (kids these days) and I teach at the local college in the spring so we are really limited on timing. The June 13th western was perfect, the last day of school for DD is the 12th and we leave that night but we have already had 2 snow days, any more and its off to the Principal to beg for a pass to get her off a couple of days early (Even though I think PA requires all 180 days to be in by June 15th). Well it looks like a warm up tomorrow to 40 degrees, it was 5 over night last night. I got a taste of the warmth on a business trip last Monday to Mobile where it was 72 degrees while I was there!

where in Pgh do you live? Isn't the weather awful this year?


My son will be 13 when we cruise and some how he never meets anyone from the dis-maybe ths time
He is excited to be in the stack, but I worry because of all the much older teens, but I think they have them in 2 age groups now.

Since I am almost 100% sure we are all amking it please include us in the list-we will also be doing FE

We are in Hampton Township in the North Hills. Yes, the weather has been terrible. Even the dog hates going outside because he does not like being wet. We are really looking forward to the trip, we need the vacation, last was so bad in the family we did not get away from home for more than 3 days this last summer. My DD was the same on our first cruise she was really reluctant to get involved with the others, she was a 'tween too, at 12, older than everyone else in the clubs but too young for the stack. Our first cruise was in early May and there were not a lot of school age kids let alone middle school. Hope to meet you all on ship.

Oh my..weather..YUCK! We live in Somerset (about 1-2 hours) from Pittsburgh. It was 7 below here on Friday! Can't wait till vacation & 90 degree weather!

Being that we (ATL) got beat by Arizona and then they beat our rival Carolina, we were hoping to see the Cards go all the way. Even though they lost, that was a heck of a game.
