6/13/2009 Western on Magic- Our Cruise Chat Continues!

Actually.... YES

I only got to talk to DH for about 5 minutes yesterday morning and then a few BB messanger messages around noon. He was doing training all night and I did not get to talk to him in full about all of this till this afternoon.

After ABA therapy, speech therapy and then swimming lessons for Maddy I picked up Brooklyn from school and we came home. Much to my surprise DH was here. It was so nice for us to sit down and talk.

We have both come to the conclusion that we are THRILLED with our upgrade that we received! He is so sweet, he said we will help your mom with whatever she needs. He said I do not care going up to Deck 9 and getting her drinks or food and bringing it back down.

We are both really excited to have CAT 10's. I wish one was not a connector bc it has this really bench in the ones that are not connectors. We got 1 connector and one not so worst case we will just give my mom and the girls the one with the bench.

Now everyone needs to promise me that they will still deliver gifts to Deck 1!

I had made a point this cruise that I was NOT going to use the elevators at all! My friend did it on the Trans Atlantic. For 14 nights she NEVER once used the elevator. Of course when I say I am going to do it we get deck 1!!!! Anyone want to join me in my boycott of the elevators?!?!?!??! Or am I just nuts????

So I am in a GREAT place and counting down 36 days, 11 hours and 40 minutes until we land in ORLANDO!!!!! Thank goodness Craig came home today!!!

Awe...DH is so sweet surprising you! You have a great DH and relationship, I hope someday that I can find that too in someone.

I will try to do the NO Elevator's with you also. It's easier when you have someone else helping you achieve your goal and pushing you. I might not be able to do it if I end up wearing heels to dinner but I promise I will try.

I will come visit you for FE and other times too, I promise you will not be forgotten by me and I'm sure no one else either.

Sorry we haven't been around to much, been busy with the kids High School and College graduations and work.

We got our room assignment (2608). Who do we send it to to get the FE list updated with the cabin numbers?

We are looking forward to meeting everyone and having a fun and relaxing cruise.

I have dealt with bladder infections many times before so at least I know what I am facing!!!! but hey it could be much worse as I have now read on here with the kidneys so I will tough it out

I hope everyone has a great day......

Today is a home visit day for me with many families so I guess many frequent stops for bathroom breaks in between visits must occur

Ok, so stairs it is! (Actually, I usually try to do that on cruises. DD and I LOST weight on the Med cruise in November -- but we also walked MILES each day in the ports!)

Morning all.. I missed a bit last night, just got caught up. Hope everyone's kids will be ok!

As for the stairs, that is what we usually do. Quicker, most times, to take the stairs than elevators! We used to 'race' up each side, although we were younger than! Will have to see what happens this trip!

I have a DD13, Morgan (who WAS going to be named Megan right up until the moment of birth at which point I sprung it on DEX that I preferred Morgan... and at that time he really couldn't object after seeing what I had just gone through )

YES please do not forget I also have Layne who is 14 and in the 8th grade.... He just doesn't know about the cruise yet. For those who have kiddos his age thought maybe you could share some info about him... He loves his computer of course but also plays the Saxophone and plays Soccer. His honor English class has him on Pins and needles right now and he gets easily discouraged with this particular teacher! I really hope all the teens can click with him and I hope I have not prevented him from forming bonds but the surprise is soooo much fun!

Hello there!! I think that is so cool that this is a surprise for Layne!!! I told Megan about him..she is also in band and plays trumpet! She is kind of struggling with the end of 8th grade...she is doing great but just has too much going on!!! So when will the surprise be revealed??? I can't wait to hear his reaction! I am getting more and more excited about this trip....it's getting closer!!!!!

Is it just me or does it seem like a week ago it was 60 days and too early to start getting ready for the cruise and now all of the sudden its 30 some days and I feel behind.
