What meds did they give your mom for her leg pain? Did she see a neurologist?

There was alot of trouble with what she can take-she is on high BP med and insulin dependent-her kidney function is very poor, so a lot of the medications were contraindicated for her. Not sure what she is on now-they are always trying something new. The pain med offers a slight reduction in the pain but not much and not for long- she has seen quite a few specialists not sure about a neurologist-I have actually lost track, and my brother is a physician, so I imagine they are trying everything, but if you have a suggestion let me know.

We will go with the collapsable chair.

I think we need to get a count of who wants to join and then everyone can decide if they have enough to add others.

As for assigning days...it seems as if there are so many who just want to do it "whenever" maybe we should just keep it at that. We had assigned once and not assigned another time. It always works out in the end.

I know Diane and I said that we are going it the 1st night. I also have a 2nd gift from my mom and girls that I will be giving another night and then the kids gifts another night. I think it will be more then spread out.

Hi, DISers! I just got off the Magic on Saturday. I bought a copy of the Port & Shopping Club book onboard and was wondering if anyone wanted my copy. It is full of coupons and freebies for all the ports you are stopping at. (I used the coupons on the Eastern cruise so all the Western stops are untouched.) For example, Cozumel has coupons for a free magnet, free shot glass, and antique map. Key West has free tanzanite earrings, free gemstone, and free magnet.

The book expires at the end of this year and I'm not going to cruise again so I'd like to pass it along to someone who will! PM me if you're interested.

I know what you mean! My DD has already said to me, 'Mom what are you going to do when we get off the boat? You are going to be so depressed.' Bad part of it is, she is right! All this planning for months & 'talking' to all of you will be gone! Oh my, can't let my mind go there, we haven't even boarded yet!

We're headed out for Mexican tonight to celebrate! 9 years ago today I had emergency surgery to save my pregnancy (was on hospital bedrest for 14 weeks). So it is Cinco de Mayo, but for us it has a more personal meaning!​

Enjoy! Have one for me!!!! I won't be able to have one tonight as Larry has baseball practice tonight from 7:00 - 9:00 and when I get off at 5:00 I have to go grocery shopping and we have to eat dinner somewhere on the way to or from. I won't sit until 10:00 tonight!

I know last time we got off the boat- I shed a few tears. We had such a good time!! This time at least we go to WDW afterwards- I'm not as depressed to leave there- I love it too- but we go to WDW more often then DCL.

It's the same as other Eastern Caribbean cruises:

Sunday - Formal night
Tuesday - Pirate night
Thursday - Semi-formal night

we will not cruise DCL again probably until the new ships, so I will have nothing to look forward to

"Greetings,

Do you have friends or family that would want to join you on your June 13 Disney Cruise Line® Vacation? We have very limited access to a few more Category 12 Inside staterooms on this sailing. These rooms are limited to a maximum of three passengers per room and will not last long."

So they are still selling category 12.

I think we won't cruise DCL again to until after the new ships are done. However we are doing an Alaskan cruise in 2011- with alot of people from my family. But without the mouse onboard- it won't be the same.

Ok, I am only here for a min. My youngest Daniel (6) fainted again today at school! We have been at the doctors and hospital today and he is now finally feeling better and playing, so happy for that!
At least this time he didn't have a seizure or stop breathing! He has a little boo boo on his forehead and nose from the fall but doesn't look to bad.
I have been by him ALL day, I sure hope they find out what is going on with him. Please keep him in your prayers!!

I am so sorry for all of your worry..... I am sure you are so tired of hearing no answers... So they already checked all the basics such as his iron and insulin and thyroid and etc?... Did they say what they wanted to test next?

Hello everyone!! I am sorry I am not more active on this thread! I just can't keep up!!! I try to skim through every day and see what you peeps are talkin about... my office filters out websites with discussion boards and even though I have a way to get through the filter, I am always afraid I am going to get in trouble!!! So anyway, that is my reason for not being more active here!!

Hey Diane (Larry's mom) I know we are directly 2 decks above you I think (we are in 7501) so it will be easy for us to find you!!! Can't wait to meet you guys!!! It is going to be a blast!!! How is the end of 8th grade going for Larry?? It is stressful right now for Megan! She has been quite out of sorts lately .... we will really need this vacation by the time it gets here!!!!
