6/13/2009 Western on Magic- Our Cruise Chat Continues!

Hey! I had originally booked category 12 and was upgraded to a cat9 on deck 2.

Thanks for the prayers. The Hospice nurse seems to think we will be fine to go ahead with the cruise. He is doing well and still feels like going out to eat and church, etc. so unless things go downhill before, we are going.

Glad things are working out so you and your family can join all of us on the cruise!!!:thumbsup2 It's gonna be a blast!!!

So, does anyone know any pros/cons for deck 5? We are right above the theater so I read that you can kind of hear that until around 10pm which will be fine since we probably won't be in the room until after that. Deck 5 is also where the kid's clubs are so we will be close to them!! Another plus(IMO) is the lifeboats are on that deck.

Also, does anyone know which deck Palo is on? I didn't see it on the ship diagram. Thanks!!

OK it's reall now...we can look up the temps and rain forecast online! Whoo hoo!

You must venture to the top to find Palo:thumbsup2

We have late dining and I am so thrilled about this for DS 12! He hates to wait for his food, so the quicker, the better for him! Then he can go off to Ocean Quest. DD loves the dining experience and we are dining with another family who also has a 14yr old girl. By the way, Nikki, DS turns 12 tomorrow and we went out to Best Buy today and bought him the i-touch for his BD. I get his old i-pod! :rotfl2: Good thing we have similar tastes in music!

No worries your DS 12 can go to the club on his own whenever he wants to if you give him permission.....:thumbsup2

I can't believe we have a little over a week before we are CRUSIN'. I have been planning this since Oct. :cool1:

We were scheduled to do the Relay for Life event this weekend but due to some conflicting issues between our team capt & the event coordinator; we are no longer participating. I am disappointed but grateful since I am feeling overwhelmed with FEs (done), cleaning (can anyone recommend a good maid), packing (yeah, right), & everything else.

I need a maid too, my house looks like a storm came through it.:scared1:

BTW. How is your house hunting going?

And how did Jordan's dentist appt go. Rob got disappointed tonight. His last "baby tooth" came out. Hard to believe he has lost them all and he turned 10 less than a month ago.

We've put it on hold until we get back, I also think we are going to try to ready our houses to sell first.

Well, Jordan's appointment was OK- she actually had 2 of the caps come off. :scared1: One we had, the other we couldn't find. They put one back on- she had to get fitted for the other and goes back on Friday for them to put it on.:scared1:

ME TOO! I'm finally done with the "work" part of my year. I'm a teacher and was videotaped today. Talk about pressure! From here on until next friday it's all fieldtrips, picnics and end of the year clean up fun!

I feel like I can finally focus on my cruise preps!

Yuck. Nothing like adding things to do in this last week. :goodvibes

That is good. I really should get off the boards and work on making packing and to do lists. I am starting to worry that I am going to forget something. :scared1:
