6/13/2009 Western on Magic- Our Cruise Chat Continues!

Oh my I feel like I am forgetting something already. My weekend is busy with Ariyana's 10th birthday party so I packed 95% this past weekend. I just have FE gifts, booze, water and odds and ends to pack.

I haven't even packed yet either- I have so much stuff sitting around my house getting ready to pack.

I finished my 3 nights, but go back in a day. Only 2 days off between now and next Thurs when we leave. I haven't even started packing, but will try to tackle a lot of it tomorrow. Work was really bad last night (24 weeker that's not going to live), so I've had a rough day with no sleep. And I went back to the Dentist this am to have more repair work. I'm waiting for DD to get home from VBS with a friend, and then I'm headed to bed. Please pray I make working all these nights and can get everything done that needs to be.

Good morning all ~ I was awaken at 445am to jolly & cheerful birds singing!! good thing I don't have a shotgun.

ARGH ~ looking around my house I feel I have sooo much to do. I packed the FE gifts along w/other items in a large suitcase & now have to start packing the other 2 suitcase w/clothes for our CRUISE!!! But my house is trashed & I really need to get on the ball with that since this weekend we are doing Relay for Life.

Jayde will officially drive alone today when she goes to get her hair done. It is not far but in a horrible area to drive in. And then she is off to another appointment after that.... I am excited I don't have to cart her around anymore but leery of turning her loose on our crazy roads!! It is not her I am concerned about but other drivers.

Hope everyone is getting healthy & has a great day!

Good morning everyone!!!

I am officially crossing my fingers for Jayde's first solo driving expedition!!!

Last week we were out somewhere and I had pulled in somewhere and Morgan asked if I wanted her to move the car ... she's 13!!! I swear in the past two months she has gone from nice, sweet young lady to a boy-crazy, texting, cussing teen more worried about how her eyeliner than her grades! And the clothes on the floor -- "it's my room and I can do whatever I want in it...." It's making me nuts!

I know, I know that she's testing the limits but, Lord give me strength.

I am in full-on haven't packed panic mode.

11 days. Whoop. Whoop.

Ally made it all through 5th grade with 2 really good friends (yes, a threesome for a whole year - seems impossible, no?). Things were getting a little weird with the dominant one (and there is always a dominant one), and last week, on the last day of school they both declared to Ally that they weren't going to be her friend any more. Obviously planned and so gratuitously mean, I can't stand it. Of course she doesn't want to talk about it . . .
And driving??? Cant even imagine . . .

there are a few boys in Brandon's grade that are worse than girls about gossip, and excluding others and hurting feelings.

One just invited Brandon over this week-end--first time in 7+ years. I am not letting him go. This boy is always in trouble and just mean.

Diane--iake some shuttle pictures for us-I tried to convince my family to get up and go see it, but no luck.

Gotcha - actually all kids are mean! We'll I should say most kids are mean. It sounds like we have a pretty good group of kids (young adults) on our cruise.

We're hoping to get up early to see it too! We are staying at the Courtyard by Marriott airport location the night before (get in late and plan to get up exta early!) Can't wait!!! We're going to eat breakfast afterwards, then stop by a store for any last minute things. Hope to be to the terminal by 10 or 10:30am. Where can I find FAQ's about the shuttle launch?
