6/13/2009 Western on Magic- Our Cruise Chat Continues!

That's the dog food I use--any problem with that? We use indoor cat food, but a different brand-wonder if that is the only one.

I used to use that dog food til my dog got sick a few months ago so please be wary of it!! When I switched her food she got better and all this after a huge vet bill, it's so sad to see your dog get sick and not know whats wrong with them! My dog became very lethargic and was totally not her self. So just be aware!!

what did you switch to? We use the small bites, since we have pugs that prefer the smaller food

Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers. We are still trying to sort things out and make some kind of decision. DD and I are still planning to go on her field trip to D.C. since we could hop on the Amtrack or rent a car if we need to come home. I've had to work so we will be looking into our options regarding the cruise...if there are any. Thanks again for your support.

:grouphug:Thinking of you!

OK... so I am re-doing my FEs to make it easier to ship (minus thingys that the doggies can eat & will add them later). I liked my FEs but I was not excited about them... NOW I am!!

I, also, decided (DO NOT KILL ME):scared: to forgo the bullet & bring some BLL :thumbsup2(BUD Lite Lime in cans). I have a really neat cooler bag that will keep them cold by the pool.
WHAT NO Bullet?????

I switched her to Royal Canine, which is slightly more expensive but well worth it, she loves it, and the pieces are bite size not huge chunks, since my dog also does better with the smaller bites. She actually seems to like this food better than she ever liked the Nutro. It is also more palatable, so thats a plus:thumbsup2 But she's had great results with this food and she has been eating it for almost 3 months now, so I would totally recommend it:goodvibes

Packing ~ whats that?!?! I am starting to get into panic/paranoid mode that I will forget something or my FEs are not enough (I have to just say NO). This is that last weekend that we have free until the cruise. But still have many things to do: laundry (oh wait we always have laundry), Jayde is re-taking her road test, we will probably go to lunch, & then STANLEY CUPS FINALS TONIGHT!!!

Next weekend, we have Relay for Life on Sat & Sun. We are doing it at a high school by where her Jayde's father lives & I asked if I should let him know we are going to be there I see if he wanted to come see her (they haven't seen each other since Dec 2000 & have been in contact (very rarely) only in the last 2 years. She said No... he can wait until he receives my high school announcement.

**If you just recently joined & would like an FE gift for your kids ~ Please PM me so I can add them to my list. I am losing track of room #'s. Thanks*
I second that Please PM me also and let me know so i can include you as well. I need to know cabin #, names, and how many adults / kids and their ages please. See 1st page of thread.

Bam. Bam. FIREPOWER!

Please tell us how it was!

LOL. Ben said "The Thinker" must have been a college jock. :rotfl2:

The movie was very good. Not quite as good as the first one but definetly a must see. Besides Ben Stiller the other cast from the first one did not have big parts. It was a good story line and well down.

I wonder if it is big deal to ask the room steward to wash it--maybe spill on it "by accident"

really gross--those shows that show how dirty bedspreads and channel changers and other items are make me sick!

I am out of FEs... I re-did every single one AND Love them!!! I plan on shipping them to my stateroom but still have more to add (will do on ship).

Now time to relax a little before game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals!!! Oh & finish :laundy:

GO WINGS!!!

Make sure you post a review:thumbsup2

We went to see Night at the Museum/Smithsonian for Evan's 9th Bday party last weekend - all the kids LOVED it!! :thumbsup2 It was action packed and actually had some pretty funny stuff I thought! Evan is a history/president buff so it was perfect for that reason too!!

Ok you guys who are finished with your FE gifts are making me nervous...I've got to finish mine!!!! So if you don't see me for a while on the board...you will know...I am slumped over the table in the kitchen.... :faint: ...must finish...must finish...

Have a great week everyone!!! :goodvibes

Hi all.
Just got caught up. We had a tragic loss on Tuesday. My BIL passed away very unexpectedly. He was only 42, would have been 43 in 2wks. Tonight has been the first night getting back on the DIS boards.

Hope everyone is well.

Can't wait to leave & get away from 'real' life for awhile!

Very sorry for your loss.

They say things happen in "3".. Jayde's great uncle (father's side) passed away last week also. He had terminal intestinal cancer but was only diagnosed last month; he was 53. His wife, also, has cancer & is going through chemo. It has been a couple years since Jayde has had contact w/that side of her family (only her g'ma & a few cousins). Unfortunately, this won't change anything.

Hope we don't hit a 3rd!!!

Andrea ~ Don't worry.... mine are only shipment ready; I still have stuff to add when we get on board. (BTW I gave Larry permission to give Megan Jayde's number (its a 586 area code; she has unlimited texting)).

Does anyone know Disney Poly's room number- I had it but cannot find it now.:goodvibes

Sorry guys had dance competition all weekend and just got in ... I have to go back a few pages and catch up.

Our numbers are 2011 and 2021 ... my girls are begging me to pack, so I guess I'll be up for the next few hours planning our days and nights ... I can't wait:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:::
