I like checklists. DD even printed copies for herself. She is doing her packing this weekend. She leaves for band camp next weekend and she is just about packed for that too! If I could only be as organized as her!
and a 2 day Algebra final to get through (1/2 on Monday and the other 1/2 on Tuesday). I am SO DONE WITH 7th grade and PTA and sports and CCD and Girl Scouts!!! I need a summer break!!!That's the dog food I use--any problem with that? We use indoor cat food, but a different brand-wonder if that is the only one.Good morning!
DD won the first game in the softball tournament yesterday, so it's off to game 2 today!
We went shorts shopping for DD last night becuase the only ones she has are "school length" (must be as long as your fingertips when you put your arms beside your body) and she wanted some shorty-McShortShorts as I call them. (To be fair, she wanted some Hollister shorty shorts but those leave nothing to the imagination if you know what I mean AND they cost $$$.) So we bought her some shorts at Target last night about 9:30 and I KNEW that they'd be on sale today when the new ad came out and ... voila!.. they are. I knew better than to pay full price
No worries, I have to head back out there today because we went to PetSmart right before and the cat food I use has been recalled. This wouldn't be so bad except for the fact that my female cat was obviously not herself yesterday - she had a fever and was lethargic and spent a great deal of time grooming her private parts so she likely has a UTI (which is actually more common in male cats). So I talked to the manager who told me that the manufacturer had put too much magnesium and potassium in the food and put 2+2 together and now think that this is food related. Ugh. So now I'm in for a vet visit and some meds thanks to a cat food company mess up. (The brand is Nutro, btw, and I have the two of them on "Indoor Weight Management" since my Zach is a little pooh-like in the belly.)

The skate board look, you know? Except she doesn't skate board and her legs are short, short short, so it's not a great look. But my opinion stopped counting a while ago . . 
I think I'm goin to have to mail my FE gifts - they are just too heavy. There is some candy in there, so maybe I'll carry on that part, but if they get confiscated by the dogs, I'll just have to buy everyone a drink to compensate!!!
On the other hand . . my dd (almost 11) refuses to wear any shorts that aren't baggy and below the knee!

.... I do not even want to think about "coochie shorts" ..... Last night at Layne's 8th grade social I went in for a few moments and The girls were dressed to the hilt with sequins and strapless and plenty to hold up those dresses!
So It looked like 17yr olds and not 14yr olds. I am not looking forward to those moments with a teen DD.... At least I have lots of time since Layla is only 2
Oh well! 
....Anyway biggest issue was COBRA insurance has been outrageous so I switched DH and children to my Health Insurance which will suck 550 out of my paycheck... I hope my take home pay will pay for my gas to work lol! I was looking forward to less daycare expense coming up but Layla's new prechool will be 200 per week so no gain since Lance starts K and I have to pay for AfterSchool..... Why doesn't money and maids and Nanny's grow on trees

I have a really neat cooler bag that will keep them cold by the pool.OK... so I am re-doing my FEs to make it easier to ship (minus thingys that the doggies can eat & will add them later). I liked my FEs but I was not excited about them... NOW I am!!

) and I have bought her the Nutro brand dog food ever since I got her (she's almost 3) and a few months ago she started acting really weird, very similiar to how your cat was acting, I also thought she maybe just had a UTI and after about $600 in vet care, I finally figured it must have been the food. I had just bought her a new bag a week before she got sick so I switched her food and like magic she was back to her old self! I even told the lady at the pet store where I get her food that I thought something was wrong with it but she said she hadn't heard anything from the manufacturer. I KNEW it was that food, thanks for sharing that!!! I am gonna tell the lady at the pet store about it. Isn't that weird? We both used the same brand and both our pets got ill. I'm so glad you shared that info!!
