5G at Caribbean Beach Resort?

Anyone know if there is Verizon 5G Coverage at CBR? Just upgraded to iPhone 12 and would like to know if I can get 5G coverage when trying for the 7am RoR release while at the resort. Thanks for any information you have.

They’ve been filing permits as they install and I haven’t seen cell permits at CBR yet. Some of the other resorts have had installations so you might be close enough. A WDWMagic user tracks permits here:

I know! The map isn't very good. I was hoping someone who has stayed there (and has 5G) could answer.

The 5G that is offered in and around the Walt Disney World property will have similar speeds to 4G networks. The mmWave that offers true 5G speed is only available in select cities at this time.

5g, 4g, LTE, tdma....none of that is a factor for your to get ROR at 7am. It is not a bandwidth constraint, it is total number of users trying to access the database at a single time. 2mb vs 100mb wont help you if there are 3x the capacity of the system trying to do the same thing.

It is all timing and a bit of random luck.

I was there late Oct and noticed the LTE was great outside of the room. Meanwhile, the wifi in our CBR room was really streaky.
