5Day Hopper Ticket?

Hello, me and family are planning our trip to WDW and I have a few questions about the Hopper tickets. We will be using a 5 Day Hopper. My question is... Are we allowed to go any park as many times as we want in a 5 day time period? For example: I planned to spend half a day at MGM the first day we arrive But also want to go back to MGM another day to spend the whole day there. Is that allowable? We will be staying 5nights/4days. And want to spend one full day at each park, but since I noticed that AK closes at 5pm we will still have time to visit another park so we might want to go over to Epcot til it closes or visit MGM again. Can we do that?


Also I had a question about DTD. What time does the area usually stay open? We will be staying at ASMu so we have to consider the times the busses will be running and what the last run time will be if we visit DTD. We want to have at least one dinner at DTD.

Hello, Cinderella504 . . Welcome to the DIS!!

Yes, the park hopper means exactly that ... you can hop back and forth to any park as many times as you wish within that five-day period. If you choose to go to the Animal Kingdom and then hop to EPCOT later in the day, that is certainly acceptable. You can hop as many times as you wish in each day.

The plus options on your hopper pass, though, are a one-use only type of admission. For example: If you visit Blizzard Beach, and then decide to spend the afternoon at Typhoon Lagoon, this will use up two "plus" options, rather than just one.

A 5 day park hopper ticket means that you can hop from park to park for the whole five days as many times as you want. DTD is open late. Not sure exactly what times the different parts are open but the buses run to the resorts as late as 2:00 am. I know that the Market Place is probably not open as late as Pleasure Island but when you go there you will get a brochure, just like in the parks, that will list all the times for everything. Getting to/from DTD will not be a problem. Because of Pleasure Island, there are busses running until about 2:30 in the morning. Everything else there closes around 11pm, I believe.

As for the 5 day Park Hopper, basically you can go to any of the 4 theme parks, and more than one per day, for 5 days. Those 5 days do not have to be consecutive days. But if you go into a park, then that day will be considered one day off of your Park Hopper ticket. So, as you were saying, if you were to go to MGM the afternoon you arrive, then by doing that you will be using a whole day off of your ticket.
