Crime fighter

and I do fight crimes in my own little way (sans cape though)

I wanted to be an executive secretary and a mommy.
I'm a mommy. No plans for the secretary thing. :teeth:

I wanted to be a Mouseketeer.

I ended up a software engineer working for a Mickey Mouse outfit. Close enough, I guess.

I wanted to be a dancer or even a nurse.

I love to dance still. Always will. I would love to get back into tap dancing.

I am currently finishing up my degree in Creative Writing...i love it. We'll see how it goes.;)

to illustrate books...1/2 way there. Also to be living in Florida while doing it. That is proving to be a tougher goal to accomplish.

I wanted to be a rich man's wife!:p
No I am not.

But I am very happy with my life.;)

I dreamed of growing up and marrying a farmer and living in a big house on a big farm....

and I got my wish!! :wizard:

I was just telling this to somebody the other day....I wanted to dance in the cage on Laugh-In with Goldie Hawn! LOL!!!!

I am, instead, Mom to 3 wonderful DS's and the director of a Nursery School.

I wanted to be a music teacher.
I did a degree in music but then decided to teach 7-11 year olds instead so I teach everything now.

I wanted to be a small forward in the NBA.

I am a small forward, but its in a men's rec league, not the NBA!

I've yet to figure out what I want to be when I grow up!!

I think what I'd really like to be is retired & rich. While I'll be comfortable, I don't think I'll ever be rich. And retirement is probably at least 30 years away!

When I was in kindergarten I had to draw a picture of what I wanted to be when I grew up- to my grandfather's horror I said go-go dancer, which to me at age five was just what you said, a dancer in a cage on Laugh-In (or maybe I was thinking of Wonderama :smooth: !) Of course when I got older I realized why my grandfather was so horrified, he was thinking of a different sort of go-go dancer :earseek: .

I wanted to be a writer, a teacher, a video editor, a mom. I'm a mom who writes for fun, edits home videos... and might still be a teacher someday, who knows!

When asked in 1st grade, I said a cocktail waitress. When asked again in 8th grade, I said Accountant (that's what my mom and sister were). What I really wanted to be was a Superstar!

I wanted to be a veterenarian.

I'm a mom, grandma, married to an iron miner, have an antique store online and I co-moderate several websites, but I'm NOT a veterenarian. Sort of bummed out about that. LOL

I'm still figuring it out. I wanted to be a vet or a marine biologist...and right now, I'm a measly comic store manager. Dare to dream.

Well, in 1st grade I wanted to be a truck driver (brother was one and went to alot of great places), then I remember once coming out of the bathroom (after a singing session in the mirror) and told my mom I wanted to be a singer, she told me I couldn't sing. After that, I guess I didn't want to be anything, just happy I guess. I am now happy, a mom to 2 great kids. When I grow up from here, I would like to be a performer in FoLK. Gotta dream big!

I wanted to be a Police Officer . . .

When I was 18 I went and got an application and my dad ended up talking me out of it . . .being a woman and all . . .he's very old school . . .

In 1991 I did take an exam and passed it and then I had a face to face interview and they failed me by 2 points . . .(that's before any women were hired).

Basically I just did legal secretarial work until 4 years ago when I started working for an administrator at a highschool. I do work closely with the resource officer though so I sort of feel like I'm doing some kind of police work.

I wanted to be either a vet or a hair stylist. I am neither - I work in an office, so I'm not even close :D
