50th Celebration

The 50th Celebration is when? May 5-Oct of 2006? Is this right? Will everything be in full swing on May 5th or should we plan our trip later in the celebration?

Also, has anyone driven to DL from the Reno/Lake Tahoe area? What is the best route to take and how long should we plan for the drive?

It probably won't be in full swing on May 5th. The new Buzz Lightyear attraction isn't supposed to open until July 17th 2005 and Space Mountain is still up in the air. I've been hearing a July 17th opening for that also.

So celebration-wise, it should be ready. Attraction-wise, not until Summer. If these rides are important to you, I would wait.

The 50th Celebration starts on May 5, 2005, not 2006.

I think they mean May 5th 2005 - Oct. 2006 .
