50th bday???

My mother is celebrating her 50th bday when we go down in Dec of 2010! I'm just wondering what special things anyone could suggest??? we are staying at port orleans!

I took my mom several years ago.

Definately either rent the four person bike or do the carriage ride around the resort - you can do both POR and POFQ in one ride. We did both and my mom absolutely loved it!

Do take the water taxi to DTD; it is so nice and leisurely. We went to Ghiradelli's a couple of times for dessert. She is a "wandering" shopper, so she loved strolling through the shops.

I'd say try and get in on a Wishes or Illuminations cruise or take her to one of the signature restaurants for dinner.
