50th anniversary--help please

My in-laws will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on 9-11-10. We'll be celebrating this Friday. I would like to make something incorporating their wedding pic (black & white) and a pic they had taken this month (color). I have both pictures in 5 x 7 and wallet size. I was able to copy the color pic and make it b&w too. I have absolutely no ideas, other than perhaps using the wallet sizes on a card

I love my mother in law dearly and would like to make a special keepsake for her. Many of the 50 years were hard and she has remained faithful, loving, and supportive through all of her husband's shennanigans. She loves me and my girls more than my own mom does

Can anyone give me some ideas please? TIA, Cheryl

I don't know the colors in the most recent ones but could you do a page that you put in a frame or shadow box type thing- I would put the recent photo in the middle area- but a little toward the bottom and left. Then use the wallet of the wedding matted on gold in the upper right corner. I would add on some gold 50's and maybe a quote the sums up their marriage- if you can do the quote in gold writing that would be awesome. I would use maybe a golden background with a lace over it.

Rebecca, that sounds perfect!! My MIL is wearing lavender and FIL is wearing a navy coat, white shirt & blue tie in the recent picture. I was having trouble trying to figure out how to incorporate gold. Thanks for the awesome idea & description
