50's Primetime - closed in January???

Someone mentioned on another thread that they weren't able to get an ADR for 50's Primetime because it's going to be closed during their visit. Does anyone have any info on this?

I checked allearsnet and couldn't find anything. I'd really like to know since we were hoping to stop by for lunch during our January vacation...which is a week after that original poster.

I made my ADR's on Sat. and the CM said "50's Prime Time is going to be closed from January 9th - 20th". Hope this helps you out. Maine

Well let's hope it really opens on the 21st because we'll be flying home on the 22nd and I'd really like to dine there before we leave.

Thanks for that info. I had called Dining this morning to make my one absolutely necessary reservation and didn't know about this at the time so I didn't ask.

Your post is what prompted this. I was getting nervous seeing the other persons dates and thought we'd get a faster answer with it's own thread. We'll all be keeping our fingers crossed for a reopening when planned! After reading all the reviews on here and how much fun it is, I was really getting excited about trying it out for lunch.

That is what I thought too. I seriously tried posting this 4 times on here only to get some sort of error message. I was really glad someone else had the same idea. We're looking forward to it too. I have eaten here before but neither my son or husband have so it should be fun. I am glad it looks like it will be available for us.

I'm glad someone found out it's the 20th because the CM I talked to said the 9th-14th. Luckily I had made it for the 8th. Phew. Just made the cutoff. Hope you're all able to dine there!

I called this morning to make my CP ADR since that was most important to us, but after finding out about this "shut-down", I decided to call back for an ADR to 50's...and got it with no problem for the 21st. Hopefully it will in-fact re-open on time. We won't be able to go there on the 22nd, since that is the day we are leaving and our flight is a little too early to squeeze in lunch before we go...and it would require adding a day to our tickets, so really not worth it.
