What's a "can't miss" here? We usually eat at Sci Fi & like the hamburgers but haven't tried anything else because of not-so-great reviews.

We've never eaten at 50's Prime Time & plan on having lunch this year, mainly for the ambience. What is your favorite lunch meal here? Is the haddock fish sandwich good?

please don't say meatloaf, I will not eat meatloaf!

We love 50's prime time (found it by accident when we couldn't get in to Brown Derby)
I love the fried chicken (my wife can't make it) its a real treat.
Pot roast is good too.
I think you will really enjoy yourself!

Have fun!

P.S. Be sure to keep your elbows off the table!

I'm going to have to say it-----Meatloaf! There, I said it! I really do like the meatloaf there, but we were just there on Wednesday and I had the pot roast instead this time. Really good. Hubby had some kind of club sandwhich I think, I forget what my 16 yr old had, my 12 yr old daughter had the fried chicken and our 8 yr old had the mac/cheese. Be prepared to get picked at in a friendly way by the waiter/waitress. That's part of the fun there! At a nearby table a young teen had not finished their meal and the waiter was trying to feed her like an "airplane". Got to have a good sense of humor to go there! When we go to Disney, we have to go there and eat!

The pot roast is delectable! I don't remember what my kids had, but they loved it. Our server was so funny, and he teased me about being "Ms. Hoover" because I literally scarfed mine. I was HUNGRY, and it was SO GOOD! Hope you have a great time there!

We love the fried chicken...you can order just white meat and they give you 2 breasts and a wing...sooo good

YES, YES, YES! We have gone many years back and it was great! Yes, you do NEED a sense of humor. My children really enjoyed seeing our "MOM" (server) get on to their dad for not eating his veggies, talking on his cell phone @ the table *** GASP! **** I know, I know how terribly rude!:sad2: Luckily for me he has very few other flaws!!!!
:rotfl2: I loved that place- thanks for the reminder!

Thanks for the answers. I know there's a lot of kidding but do they really make you eat your veggies? Will I have to ask for some extra napkins & excuse myself to the nearest trash can?;)

This was one of our favorite meals at Disney. Great food and atmosphere.
I heard that the food at Sci Fi was mediocre at best.
Hollywood & Vine was also very good.

I have always enjoyed the salmon there and FIL said the pot roast was delicious.

The "extra napkin" trick doesn't work there. Neither does hiding your food under, say, chicken bones or other nonedibles left on your plate.

The know all the "tricks." Go hungry and order what you know you will finish.

:)

I'll have to second the meatloaf!!! Absolutely delicious! Great meal to eat right before afternoon nap break!

Pot Roast!!!!! I live for that stuff - in fact, I'll be eating it there TOMORROW! wOOHOO!:cool1:

pot roast
fried chicken
DS like the chic noodle soup
milkshake

overall some of the best food @ Disney Studios

DH loves the pot roast and brownie sundae

me, it's the chicken noodle soup, onion rings and vanilla shake

but we both love love love the 50s kitchen theming inside!!!

Gotta have the pot roast with an onion ring appetizer, a milkshake to drink and the brownie sundae for dessert. And with pot roast, the veggies are quite goog. If there is something you won't eat, sub the corn or greenbeans or greens for it.

Put me down as another vote for Pot Roast and a milkshake:thumbsup2

Years ago we went to the Prime Time Cafe and I remember getting a Peanut Butter & Jelly Milkshake. That was the BEST!!! :drinking1

Do they still have that?????

How many pieces of fried chicken come with a lunch order? Trying to figure out if we should share an entree to save room for a shake and dessert.

DH likes the meatloaf
I like the pot roast

The chocolate sundae and the S'mores are yummy!
