50's Prime Time--open or not?

The first time I tried to make ADR's for my trip next week, they said the 50's Prime Time Cafe at Disney Studios (can't quite get used to that) was going to be closed for rehab. Today I called back and I got ressie's for Thursday. Did my CM make a mistake or is it now open again??

Thanks! I don't want to show up for my lunch and be disappointed!

When I began planning our trip back in Aug, PT was listed on the WDW site as closed for refurb. Since then it has been taken off the refurb list and we too now have lunch ressies there in a week. I assume something has changed, jsut don't know what. The original plan stated for PT to close the day we arrived 1/19, I believe so I know it is not that htey finished the refurb early....just changed it I guess

We made reservation for Jan. 24th back in Nov. and had no problems. I hope they'd call if it closed.

When we were there last month the cast members told us that the refurb was to install new wallpaper. They decided to cancel it and just install it at night. Can't wait to go back in two weeks.

Oh, I"m so glad you posted this!!

We've seen refurb dates on a few websites for late January/early Feb. But when we called to make ADR's way back in October, they told us there was no info in their computers about a refurb scheduled for 50's Prime Time at all. We've still seen these refurb dates listed online so we've been worried that there was a mistake and we'd get there and it would be closed

Oh great, that is good to know. I was telling my DD7 about it she seemed to really be excited. It will be a lot of fun and I"m hoping my 'mother' waitress will be hard on my DH, he's always putting his elbows on the table!
