50s Prime Time - Do they open before noon?

I was told by Disney Dining that they don't open till noon but I know I've seen where others have had earlier PS times. Did the restaurant hours change or do they play the same game as the FDP restaurants do?

last trip we made a ps for the first Ps which was noon. When we got there that morning we were starving by 11:30 and headed over and they were open and people were well into thier meal. They had to have opened by 11:00. I think they sometimes extend times as they see how the crowds look for a day.

The earliest PS I could get for Sci-Fi in June is 12:00. I have eaten there twice at 11:30, and the dining CM told me the notes section says they open at 11:00. However, she could not make a PS before 12:00. She said to check when I arrive at the park to see if it could be moved up, or to just check in at Sci-Fi at 11:00 or shortly after to see if we could be seated earlier. It's very frustrating.

Just called the other day for Prime Time and I got 12 when they open!!!
