The Food Channel show that had the Prime Time and Auntie Claire is this one:

AIR TIMES:

Auntie Claire is the one swinging the hoola hoop around on her arm, telling someone "I want you to eat your green beans", showing her phote albums, and telling everyone to keep their elbows off the table. :teeth:

When does Auntie Claire usually work? We have eaten at Prime Time twice, and I'm having trouble convincing DH to go back this next trip because we didn't get a server that was real "into" it. I love all the antics and would love to request Auntie Claire, or anybody else good that ya'll could recommend....

It seems that every time we've seen her, it's been a Tuesday for lunch. Just works out that way. (We used to arrive in WDW the Sunday after Thanksgiving, and then do early entry for MGM on Tuesday and eat at Prime Time.) You could check at the restaurant as soon as you arrive at MGM, and someone should be there who could tell you if she's working. And you can request her, altho we waited a while to be seated at one of her tables last time.

My DD and I saw her at DtD one night. She was with her best friend from middle school, who was visiting...she introduced her as "Auntie Ellen". :teeth: It was kind of fun to see her out of character, in real clothes, but at the same time, I was thinking I should sue Disney, like those people years ago who sued Disney because their kid saw Mickey taking his head off. LOL (I'm just kidding about suing, I hope you know!)

If you see her, tell her "Mare" says hi! :wave2:

We love 50's Prime Time, but we haven't gotten anyone who was as extreme as Claire sounds. We're going in December and I hope we'll get her. :)

We have had terrific servers aka cousins and one that wasn't so terrific. On our last trip in August we watched one poor family being put thru the wringer. They had a teenage boy who did something to annoy his 'cousin' or 'aunt' and was put up against the wall, with everyone in the area shouting..."Shame, shame, shame!!" Then another child sassed the 'aunt' and she was made to set the table so mom could have some time off. It really was hysterical. Now, when someone misbehaves at our house, you hear "Shame, shame, shame!"

One time there, I tattled on someone. (But, he deserved it!) I did have to do the routine of putting my nose against the wall while everyone yelled "shame, shame shame!" at me. So much fun! haha.

Thanks for the great review. We took my sister & her husband to 50's for there first time and we all had a blast. It helps that the food is really good and reasonalby priced too.

We ate there yesterday at lunch. Our server told us to get our elbows off the table but not much more interaction than that.

Except I hate green beans and didn't eat any. That's when she took my plate and brought back my green beans with whipped cream and sprinkles. DW loved that.....
