Looking at the menu and some searching on the board I see the only option at 50's Prime Time for a vegetarian is the stuffed pepper. My 17 dd hasn't eaten stuffed peppers before so I'm not sure what to tell her. Any vegetarians out there that has a review on the pepper (spicy?) and/or other thoughts on this restaurant for a vegetarian?

Thanks!

It's not spicy, it's a baked stuffed green bell pepper filled with grilled vegetables. I haven't had it, but I've seen almost all positive reviews of it. But if she really hates peppers, I've heard of people being able to get pasta with vegetables instead.

Thanks! Anything with pasta will make her happy! ;) We have been to Disny many times but this is our first with a vegetarian, so I am looking at menus in a different way!

Given the retro "comfort food" theming at 50's PT, it's a tough spot for a non-carnivore. Unless you are dying for the interactive CM element there, a better HS table service choice to satisfy your teen might be Mama Melroses. Beyond the five vegetarian entrees there (pastas and flatbreads), there are also several very hearty vegetarian appetizers. I.e. unless she hates Italian she's going to feel there's a lot more choice there than at the 50s PT.

I dont like peppers, at all. However, the stuffed peppers at 50's were very good. I ate the stuffing out, it was really, really good! The peppers were not spicy and I did eat alittle of them this last time. I have had this dish 2x.

Please be aware that ALL Disney TS restaurants have vegetarian alternatives that are not posted on the menu. When you make your ADR's, just note that one of your party members is a vegetarian. When you arrive at the restaurant, mention it again. If nothing is to your liking on the menu, they can make alternate arrangements. Sometimes they will send a chef out to your table to discuss. This also goes for gluten-free, diabetics, and allergies.

We are actually wanting to go to 50's PT for the themeing/cm interaction. This will be our first trip with more family members and it just seems like a fun place to go with a group!?? We have been to Mama Melroses before also, so we were wanting a new experience as well.

Another question about noting a vegetarian on the reservation - I actually made our ADR online - can I still call the dining number and have them add it to the reservations?

Thanks for all the help!

I would bet that they would have macaroni and cheese that a vegetarian could get their hands on. I am a vegetarian who has eaten there, I am not a fan of stuffed peppers, but it was great! And the place is just a lot of fun...milkshakes and great desserts and good fun!

When i went here, i explained to my waitress I didn't like peppers - she offered me Stouffer's Mac and Cheese.
I am not a huge fan of Stouffers (I think the pasta is soggy) but I got a HUGE plate, bigger than my head. I could only eat about a quarter of it.
They were very accommodating!

Now this was about 5 years ago, but last time we went I asked if they had veggie burgers (I hate peppers) and they did. So I ordered a veggie burger and fries. Great meal.
Just ask! (I also had the veggie burger at Sci Fi, which is not on the menu)

the vegetarian entree has changed. it is now a stuffed pasta, kinda like a ravioli. with squash and zucchini and mushrooms. it's a "spicy" tomato broth. but it's not spicy. it's actually really good. i just had it last week. i wish i had taken a picture to share, but i didn't.

Both my husband and I enjoyed the stuff pepper. I say she should give it a try. If she doesn't like it, she can always get a smores plate as a consolation!

This is accurate. They call it artichoke and ricotta agnolotti. It seems like a type of pasta. I haven't had it, but my girlfriend and I are eating at Prime Time next week, so I will report back if one of us order it.

My mom had the new artichoke and ricotta agnolotti two weeks ago. She really enjoyed it, not too spicy but good flavor.
