50's or Sci Fi??

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have enjoyed reading all of your posts.

After much thought my DH and I decided to give 50's Prime Time a try..

We like the menu options at 50's better than the options at Sci-Fi.

Also, we will wait and go to Sci-Fi once our little man is a little bit older - we did not want to take the chance of him getting scared....

Hi, dlpcarden--

We've dined at both restaurants and I think you've made the right choice for your family--but have to share a funny story about my DD's first visit to Sci-Fi. She was only 3 and a real scaredy cat, so we were a bit worried about how she'd react. She wasn't bothered by the movies--maybe because they were in B&W so didn't seem too "real" to her--and enjoyed sitting in the pretend cars. But a few days later she was acting a little strange on the beach at Caribbean Beach Resort--walking straight-legged with her arms out in front of her. I asked her why she was walking like that, and she said "I'm a zombie!" So I guess she WAS paying attention to those Sci-Fi movies!

I haven't tried Sci-Fi so I have to say 50's Prime Time. It was one of our best meals last week. My DD9 finished all of her corn....first time for everything (she really wanted the dessert!).

That sounds so adorable..... I'm sure you will remind her of what she did as she gets older....
