Lordy - they offer little assistance as they are filled mostly with unrelated jabber and outdated information. FWIW, this board really should consider placing a limit on the size of threads, possibly 20 pages long and it gets locked; if the topic still needs discussion a second thread can be started.

I would suggest making your suggestion on the tech board. You can always scroll past what doesn't interest you.

3+ year old material in many cases is outdated ... I actually tried waded through a huge thread like that, it ended up being a total waste of time, but thanks.

All the FAQ threads are maintained by Dis'ers not by any paid staff. Anyone that wishes to start a new one and maintain it are welcome to do so.

Some of the FAQ's are on their second and third generation of a FAQ. Some are updated but until someone steps up to create a new one an outdated FAQ in most cases is better than no information on a resort.

Instead of trying to glean information from an old post. This might get you the answer you were looking for and save you from reading endless hours of old posts. :thumbsup2 Just a thought.
