Actually, free closing costs for a first-time buyer is a very nice incentive on a small contract. If you compare that to a small contract via resale, where you are looking at $325 for a 50 point contract (this is the amount we paid on a 50-pointer that closed in May). Divide that over 50 points and you've got an incentive of $6.50/point. Add in the 2009 points that they also tack on, with a market value of $10/point, as another incentive. So basically, buying a 50-point contract direct is a break-even proposition for a resale at $16.50/point cheaper. When buying AKV, that puts direct right in the same ballpark as resales... with the added perks of choosing your own use year and receiving immediate use of your points. For BLT, it easily beats the small resales. They are also offering financing for the purchases and no closing costs.
Does anyone know if you can buy in at BCV for 50 points with no closing costs? I want to have another use year without breaking the bank
Thanks,
Tina
Yes BCV is available @ $115 no closing costs and you can get 2009 points.
GOOD LUCK ON BCV THEY DID NOT HAVE SEPT. USE YEAR WHEN I CALLED
It is true! I just talked to my guide tonight and they are offering the buy in at all of the resorts they are currently selling, but there are no incentives. OKW is 90/ppt, SSR at 95/ppt, BLT at 120/ppt, AKV at 120/ppt, and GCV at 112/ppt.
They are also offering financing for the purchases and no closing costs.
I have to admit, I'm very tempted. I've been looking for a smaller contract for a while now.
By chance did you check any other use years?
Thanks,
Tina

Are these the prices for an add on also?
