1. Be a Grandpa.
2. Visit Ireland, with my wife.
3. Meet the Dalai Lama (and an intrepreter).
4. Meet Alan Alda (I love M*A*S*H).
5. and, own a Cadillac.
Three of the five may occur, the other two, I can only hope.

I can see two things here I can relate to...I'd love to visit any castle. I'm not choosy!

Visit every National Park in the US

White water rafting down the Colorado River

Take a ride in a Hot Air ballon

See Panda's in their Natural environment

Take my children to Europe, Asia and Australia

Cruise to Alaska and then travel to Mt MckKinely and see the northern lights

Visit Halifax NS and St Johns Newfoundland

Ski Banaff with my children

Backpack in Jasper with my kids

Stay at AKL Conciege and do the Sunrise Safari

1. Live in a house that is not connected to someone else. I have lived in a townhouse/rowhouse my entire 46 years. I always tell my dh that before I die I want to live in a house that is not connected to anyone else.

2. Vacation on a tropical island, experience water that is clear blue, where you can see your feet through the water.

3. Be able to go to WDW whenever I want and not have to worry about the cost.

4. See my children grown and living successful and happy lives (hopefully serving the Lord in full time ministry).

5. See my grandchildren. (don't have any yet)

Become a mom. And because DH already has a son, I'd love to have a little girl for him to spoil.

Build our dream house, with a wine cellar, a game room with a nice pool table and lots of land to play on. Maybe a darkroom so that DH and I can both get back into photography.

Learn to play piano. DM (Patabel) has been taking lessons and it has caused DH and I to start talking about it. DH took lessons as a kid and would love to pick it up again, and I think it would be wonderful and fun to know how to play.

Travel to Russia again. I was there with People to People in 1991, and I'd love to go again to see how things are changed and to take a closer look at things I didn't fully appreciate at 15.

Learn to speak Russian before I go on that trip. I took a little bit of Russian in college and really enjoyed it. I'd like to be able to talk to people while I'm there and at least be able to speak a little bit of their language.

Explore the world, especially Europe.

Retire at an early age. I wanna be able to play before i'm too old to care.

OK here's my list (although I have 6, but have had from a very early age.)

1) Go white water rafting - done that.

2) Visit the Grand Canyon - done that.

3) Fly in a hot air balloon - still to do.

4) Go scuba diving on the Barrier reef in Australia - still to do.

5) Go to WDW - done that (and been to DLP too.)

6) Swim with dolphins - did this last year with my DH on our 5th wedding anniversary followed by a meal at the California grill with our best friends who were on holiday with (it was their gift to us!!!!)

This thread is so cool! There are so many things on your lists that are on mine! DH and I have a list, but until now I didn't know anyone else that does! Some of the things on my *superficial* list. Doesn't include my real life goals involving spirtuality, family, etc.

- Run a marathon (now training for 2005 Disney)
- Visit all the National Parks (can't believe geffric had this one too!)
- Climb Long's Peak in Rocky Mountain NP
- Go rock climbing at Garden of the Gods
- Get my scuba certificate
- Stay in an overwater bungalow in Tahiti
- Go skydiving
- Get my pilot's license


There are more, but these are the first that come to mind. I'm still shocked by how many of these things are on other people's lists too!
