Okay then! I've finally discovered Disney Podcasts properly and am now addicted! On WDWtoday.com recently the question was

If you could only chose 5 rides and logistics were not an issue, which Disney rides/attractions would you experience?
Likewise if you had just 50 dollars to spend on food items, what would you eat?

For me, the five rides I would most likely choose are

1) Tower of Terror! This is cool because last year I only rode it the once and although I liked it I was almost too afraid, yet this year I became addicted! I love everything about it now!

2) Haunted Mansion I just find the mansion super cool and a Disney :earsboy: classic all the way!

3) Mickey's Philharmagic. The guys on the podcast voted for the Muppets and indeed that's a great one but I like the classic Disney characters and I think the Philharmagic film is both funny and really lovely to watch.

4) Splash Mountain is a must do, the ride is nice and long, wonderfully themed with a catchy tune and a few secrets including the funny "FSU!" moles or whatever they are, we always look out for those little guys :)

5) I wish I could list Soarin! because I have a feeling I would love it to bits but after a panic attack I had to be unbuckled before the ride started, twice! Aaargh  ! So until I get that sorted I will say that I would view Wishes as my last attraction. I love that show!

For my 50 dollars I would have to eat Breakfast at Crystal Palace ::yes:: and then for the rest of the money I would have a wonderful dinner at Ohana's! No cookies or Dole Whips for me, nope! Those two meals are a must do though :)

Okay there you have it! My choices...anyone else care to give it a go :flower: ?

I'll give it a shot...

5 attractions:
1. Space Mountain -- An old favorite from my childhood. I finally got to experience it with my oldest DD on our last trip and she is just as addicted as me now.
2. It's a Small World -- I know, corny! However, again, an old childhood memory that I can't give up.
3. Mickey's Philharmagic -- Quickly becoming one of our family favorites.
4. Rock'n'Rollercoaster -- What can I say, I'm a thrill ride junky!
5. Kali River Rapids -- Again, this makes the list because of the great time my DD's have on this attraction.

As for the 50 dollars:
I agree with the OP, Crystal Palace breakfast makes the top of my list! The breakfast lasagna can't be beat. As a matter of fact, that will be on my plate exactly one week from today. I would also have to add a Casey's hot dog to my list and a Mickey Mouse rice krispie treat for a snack.

5 Rides:

1- Haunted Mansion
2- Star Tours
3-Spaceship Earth
4- Kilimanjaro Safaris
5-

$50 for Food:

1/2 Rotisserie Chicken with mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies, at Cosmic Ray's w/bottle of water
Boatwright's Breakfast w/ a Mississippi Splash Smoothie,
Beignets from the POFQ food court
I want to try a sandwich at Earl of Sandwich w/bottle of water
Taco Salad from the POFQ food court w/bottle of water

I priced everything out with tax and after what is listed above, still have $6.34 for snacks.

My 5 rides:

Tower of Terror - absolute favorite!
Space Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain
Soarin'
It's Tough to be a Bug

I think I would spend it all at Le Cellier! I went there in October on the "free dining" plan and could not believe how good the filet was. And, I'm not usually a steak person!

If I had any left, I'd get a Citrus Swirl.

My 5 Rides/Attractions would be:
1) Splash Mountain
2) Haunted Mansion
3) Mickeys Phillarmagic
4) Buzz Light Year
5) Test Track

$50.00- I think it would be Chef Mickeys for breakfast-I guess that would be it becasue it would take the $50 for me and my DH to eat.

When I saw this thread, I really thought you were going to say you went on Christmas Day, spent $50 to get in, and rode only 5 rides! I'm glad that's not so.

What a great idea... Ok, here I go.

1. Rockin Roller Coaster - One of the best I have ever been on.
2. Pirates - I know that this is kind of cliche, but I think that the ride is a true testiment to the long term vision of the Mouse Master himself, Walt Disney.
3. Haunted Mansion - See above.
4. Splash mountain - I love seeing the America sings cast. Gosh I miss that ride...
5. Festival of the Lion King - The best show I have ever seen in a theme park.

As for the food, I would go for lunch at Whispering Canyon. I haven't been there yet, but I want to. I would do the Skillet and bottomless milkshake.
Dinner would have to be 1900 Park Fare. An that would leve me enough for a dole whip and a water bottle for the day.

Yeah!!!

My food would be: Dinner at Chef Mickeys, Lunch at Crystal Palace, fruit from the various food carts, a smoothie from Auntie Gravities and chicken skewers (cannot for the life of me remember what they are called, just chicken pieces on a stick, like $2 a piece or close to it) and green iced tea from the counter service place in Japan (only place in the parks other than sit down restaurants to get good iced tea...the rest is the instant bagged junk :crazy2: :teeth:
