Hey all, we just booked our fourth disney cruise (after deciding to make it a once in a lifetime thing 6 years ago lol) we are going on the april 29, 2018 5-night baja cruise. We have only done 7-nights in the past, but we live in Arizona and have 5 kids, so we decided to save a little money and try a closer, shorter cruise this time. I'm hoping someone can help me with a couple questions.

1. Which shows are on the Wonder 5-night?
2. what are the dinner rotations?
3. IS there still a pirate night on the 5-night?
4. Any suggestions for port excursions: Ensenada or Cabo?
5. Will they still have pluto's pj party? Friendship rocks?

We are really excited to see all the new things the Wonder has to offer. We are especially excited because we have finally talked grandma and granddad, aunts, uncles, and cousins into trying a disney cruise! Our entire party will be 7 staterooms and about 20-24 people. Does anyone know if they will seat us together? Our reservations are linked, but I can't imagine they have a table that big :)

thanks for any help/advice/tips you can offer.

1. The shows on the Wonder are Golden Mickeys, Dreams, and Frozen.
2. On our 5 night Baja cruise the rotation was 12312. We had TAPTA; APTAP;PTAPT (before Tiana's Place replaced Parrot Cay), my feeling is that would translate to: TR/AP/TP/TR/AP; AP/TP/TR/AP/TP; TP/TR/AP/TP/TR.
3. There is a Pirate night.

5. Pluto's, almost definitely.
Friendship Rocks probably (its usually on 5 nights and longer cruises but can change depending on itinerary)

There's REALLY not much to do in Ensenada. There's local shopping and the blowhole plus a few really expensive excursions like jeep tours and the like. We did Ensenada on Carnival a couple years ago and are doing the 5-day right after yours - probably not even getting off in Ensenada.

Cabo has plenty to do. There is a Dolphin swim if that's your thing, but there is also just plenty of beach to enjoy. Local companies rent jet skis and the water taxis will take you all over the bay. We paid one guy $20 for a 45-minute tour of the bay and it was awesome! There's also lover's beach which is only accessible via water taxi. There's also a tree canopy zip line excursion that's gotten good reviews.

I just had a visit to Ensenada on another line. We did the La Bufadora and city tour. It was a narrated bus tour with free time to walk around La Bufadora. I enjoyed it a lot, but think it might be too long and boring for kids. I'm looking forward to seeing what excursions Disney offers. I saw some horse back riding on the beach while I was there, but I don't know if the cruise ships book that or if it is even a good company.

You won't all be seated at a table together for dinner. I believe they will seat you in groups of 8 near each other. It sounds like a lot of fun.

thanks everyone for your replies. We are so very excited to go.

we are planning on staying on the ship in ensenada, we have been there a few times already. It looks like this itinerary is a little different from past itineraries and I 'm wondering if anyone knows if pirate night would be on the sea day? I think it's usually on a port day? Just wondering so I can continue to overplan lol :) Also, do the 5-night cruises have the ana/elsa meet and greets, princess meet and greets, character breakfast? And can you book them ahead of time or do you need tickets once you board? Thanks again for answering all my questions :)

We had Pirate night on night 4 (Cabo San Lucas day). You can confirm when yours is by looking at your "My Cruise Activities" calendar once your excursion booking window opens.

As far as I know, all cruises have the Princess Gathering, as well as the Frozen Meet & Greet. Character breakfasts are only on cruises of 7 nights and longer. You book the Princess Gathering & Frozen events once your activity booking window opens (pre-cruise). IF (that's a big if) there are still spaces available, they may have some tickets onboard.

On the cruise we did way back in 2012 it was the day we were in Cabo San Lucas (like PrincessShmoo said). We were on a 7-day that ended up with an itinerary change 2 months prior to sailing. We were scheduled for Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo but they cancelled Mazatlan due to safety concerns. We got 2 days in Cabo instead which I wouldn't complain if they did on our cruise next year!

For dining, you will most likely be in the same server section, but at more than 1 table. You can switch up who sits with who each night. For that many people, you may want to check out TripAdvisor and book independent excursions if you find something you like.

Have fun!
