5 in room?

Does anyone have any recommendations on where to stay where you can have five people in a room? It will be three adults (Mom, Dad and Grandma) and two children (ages 8 and 5). We really wanted to stay at one of the Allstars but they only allow 4 people in a room. Do you know if they will budge on that restriction? Any other suggestions for reasonable price (around $100/night)? Any help would be appreciated.

If you can get any of the special rates, sometimes you can get rooms at the value resorts for $49 and then you could get 2 rooms.

Port Oleans Riverside will do 5 in a room since you can have a daybed for the child under 8. For that price, you could do 2 rooms at the All-Stars with a discount (like now $49 each room) if you go in the right season.

Riverside's "trundle bed" rooms are nice but if you request one, be prepared that they add $15 a night. A friend of mine has a family of 5 and this is always where they stay. All the "sleep 5" rooms are in the Alligator Bayou section, very cute, themed like Frontierland at the MK. The rooms are a bit bigger than the ones at the AllStars.

Offsite a lot of families like the Holiday Inn Family Suites. They are reasonable and have lots of space.

PS: No one is answering your "will they budge on occupancy" question because it is a subject of heated debate here on the Boards. Some say "Disney couldn't care less" whereas others feel that bringing five into a room for four is a crime of the highest order. No matter who sleeps where, 5 will be darn tight in the AllStars room. Friends of mine went last Xmas and had a group of your size, plus a niece. They got two adjoining AllStars rooms and loved it -- 2 bathrooms! Disney will probably not do a darn thing if you try to "sneak" five, although they used to charge extra for more than 2 adults in any room. But "sneaking" may mess up your ticket-purchase plans (if you want "length-of-stay" passes) and Disney definitely will not provide extra bedding, towels, rollaway beds, etc. So simple common sense would seem to indicate that you will need either a room for 5 at Riverside or 2 rooms at the AllStars.

Yes, in effect you do that when you request a room at PO Riverside with 5 people over the age of 3. They won't accept a reservation for such a party at that resort otherwise.
