Where else other then POR can I have 2 adults and 3 kids in a room?? Moderate and up, other then DVC. We are used to staying at OKW but the person who used to give us their points has sold them :(((((

I really wanted to try WL.

The WL room we were in only had two beds. Those rooms are smaller than the monorail resorts. We have had room for 5 at both the Poly and the GF. You could inquire about the villas at the WL to see which of their rooms would sleep 5. I've not researched that, but I bet they do! Plus, the WL might have deluxe rooms which would sleep 5.

Only a two bed at VWL will sleep 5. As for deluxe I am sure Beach Club, Yacht Club, Boardwalk Inn, Contemporary, Polynesian, Grand Floridian and Wilderness Lodge can accommodate 5 in most rooms.

Claire ;)

I will have to call Disney. The website will not let me book 5 in a room

CR, GF, Poly for sure, most YC and BC rooms have daybeds so they would allow five, the daybeds are similar in size to a single bed. Fine for a younger child, not made for tall folks though. :) Oh yeah, forgot the Boardwalk resort.

Family Suites at All Star Music.
The QUEEN size bed and the foldout sofa will each sleep 2 people.
There is a chair and an ottoman in the living area which each sleep one more person.

Have fun at Disney wherever you choose to stay!:wizard:

Highly recommend the Contempory for 5....we have stayed at GF, Contemporary, Caribbean Beach, Swan, Dolphin, Boardwalk, Pop Century, largest rooms on site!

I'll second the Contemporary. Nice big rooms, plenty of room for 5.

The standard WL room only sleeps 4. The VWL two bedroom will sleep 8 (a one bedroom will only sleep 4).

WDW Reservations will let you book 5 at BWI but apparently one of the "beds" is a 40 inch bench ???? At least that's what a manager told me when I had booked a room for 5 at BWI and was moved to BWV to a room with bedding for 4 due to over booking, and had to settle on using an areobed provided by the hotel for our 5th person. Rollaways are not allowed at BWV, also according to the manager. We've had rooms with decent size daybeds at POLY, GF, Cont & BC. I don't like the trundle at POR and prefer to bring our own aerobed if we stay there. Family Suites at All Star Music sleep 6 and are a great choice too. My husband enjoed the seperate bedroom and 2 bathrooms there.

I believe the CM was talking about the Studio Plus in the BWV. It's a deacon's bench with a cushion on it and they call it a day bed. It used to be a something you could request, now it is just the luck of the draw. The cushion is about crib size, only thinner than a crib mattress.

I thought the day bed in the BWI is really a bed.

We just stayed at the Poly in October and loved it. We also have 2 adults and 3 kids. Our 12 year old and our 9 year old took turns sleeping on the couch that turns into a bed. The rest of us shared 2 queen beds. We stayed in the Tokelou longhouse. The rooms were really nice sized and we didn't feel cramped. Although we weren't in our rooms much. We really enjoyed being on the monorail. We would definately stay there again.

We have stayed at both AKL (twice) and Poly (once) with 5 in a deluxe room, and each time was with my children....youngest being 15 years old, so not little children by any stretch. We didn't have a problem with the space at all, other than luggage storage, but we managed. Would not hesitate to do it again with 5. Enjoy your trip!

Thanks all :)

Wonder why the website will not let me book a room with 5. I guess I have to call.

We are a family of five. We've stayed at POR and it is just too tight and the trundle bed is way too small for even a 6 year old. AKL Deluxe Room is great as we had 2 bunkbeds a queen bed and a Day bed. The Poly was good as well and the Beach Club where we stayed this past summer and where we will be in just a couple of days was perfect for us.

There are 5 of us and we always stay at the Poly. The rooms are very nice sized and this is for self, DH, DD18, DD16, DD12. Never had a problem!

Thanks all :)

Which resort?? If you are trying to book a regular room at the WL you can not book with 5 in a room you will need to request a Jr Suite

Didn't all the deluxe rooms at the AKL that slept 5 get turned into DVC?
