5 Girls and a Boys Not So Scary Halloween PTR ~ 10/10 TR link

So when I got my hair done yesterday, I naturally had to walk down to the Disney Store and see what was new.

With the Lion King re-release in the theatres (which we are sooooo going to see before our trip) there is merchandise for sale! :simba:

I picked up the aforementioned shirt that will be for Ariana's Animal Kingdom day and I also picked up this for her to open on her birthday:

I didn't realize until we had our movie night what few Lion King items we had, and these guys are perfect for her.

Ariana loves to have figures in her hands. Keeping her hands busy is a great outlet for any antsy-ness (did I just make that word up?) she has and calms her down.

Shirts were on two for a lower price, so I picked up this one as the second:

I love it and almost got it for myself. I got my first look at the new Disney Princess collection that's starting to come out.

While beautiful, they're super expensive. I would have loved to have gotten Ariana the lipgloss and nail polish sets they had but yikes! ... a little pricey for me.

One more movie night to catch you up on.... this one was staggered over two nights because on our first day, the DVD stopped working 5 minutes in. :headache: But Natalie came to my rescue again and loaned me her copy so we could watch it the next night.

It's a nice lazy Sunday here today so I'm going to keep going with crossing items off my to-do list, planning out our last four movie nights and DISing!

I've always been a huge fan of Winnie the Pooh and when Alex and Ariana were little, they adored the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh movie. :goodvibes I'd thought of the single red balloon as part of our decorations as an easy thing to get for this low key night and we were thrilled to see how often it made an appearance in the new Winnie the Pooh movie. From start to end, we loved it and our favorite parts were when Pooh's tummy was gurggling away. :rotfl:

A special thanks again to Natalie for saving our theme for the week -- otherwise Ariana had chosen a Christmas Pooh movie as a backup and I'm not ready for Christmas things yet!! :lmao:

Another week closer!!

I love the single red balloon too!! I think we will do a Winnie the Pooh night once the new movie comes out on DVD since Jack and I are the only ones who saw it. And it was pretty short so maybe we could watch the new and old...

The kids had a blast pointing out the balloon whenever they saw it, it worked out really well. :thumbsup2 Back to back Pooh movies would be fun!

I love all your movie nights. You are so creative. I think my favorite is the Toy Story night. that looked so fun.

I really hope those Piglets wrapped rolls were beef hot dogs and not pork... :sad2:poor piglet

:rotfl: No Piglets were harmed in the making of our wrapped rolls! I wondered if the kids would catch on but they didn't....

Thanks! Toy Story was a fun one and an easier one too because dinner was pizza and we had all the toys already. Our Mr. Potato Heads were so fun and I have to remember to check out what's new for parts at Downtown Disney. :thumbsup2

Early... yes, ahem early. Not usually a word in my vocabulary while in Disney ! Sure will be nice for pictures though. :goodvibes I love Crystal Palace too and we haven’t been there since 2008 so it will be awesome to go see Pooh and friends!

I of course love the food there as well and Eeyore is my favourite Pooh character!

day7313.jpg

Remind me to look for Eeyore shirts, George said he wants some. He said his co-workers love his Grumpy shirts and now he wants other characters. First he said Dopey, then Eeyore because he’s gloomy. :rotfl: I’d have to say the Pooh of very little brain is my favourite. Chubby little cubby all stuffed with fluff! Piglet's kinda cute too....

After breakfast we will head out to accomplish what we missed on our list on our first MK day.

Does everyone remember when our 1st MK day was?

That’s right the day after arrival, and now its day 8. I have never gone that long in between MK visits. I know we will be there for MNSSHP but it’s not really the same since I don’t usually do rides during the parties.

Remember how ambitious our list was from our MK day? Well this should remind you:

• Town Square Theatre
o Mickey & Minnie
o Princesses
• Rapunzel (sad Flynn will be gone)
Me too, this was my very favourite meet with the two of them!
• Swiss Family Treehouse (this was on the list but will be closed while we are there and I am very sad about it)
• Jungle Cruise
• POTC
• Dole Whip
• Splash Mountain
• BTMRR
• Tom Sawyer Island
• Hall of Presidents
• Riverboat
• Haunted Mansion
• Princess Tiana
• It’s a Small World
• Peter Pan’s Flight
• Mickey’s PhilharMagic
• Carousel
• Dumbo
• Winnie the Pooh
• Mad tea Party
• Tomorrowland Speedway
• Space Mountain
• People Mover
• Buzz
• Stitch
• Monsters Inc.

We will work on finishing off this list and of course hitting a few favourites again.

Once again, how fabulous is that list?! We have to make sure to do some of those after dark, like Jungle Cruise and BTMRR, even the Riverboat would be nice if they go that late. I have the Undercover Tourist Disney World Wait Times app and I love just randomly going over the lists of the rides at the parks.... yep, I’m a nerd like that! :p

We will have dinner at Pecos Bills cause the Burgers are freakin’ awesome!!!! Ahhh, the Pickle Barrel – yummo!!

The park closes at 7pm for MNSSHP and we were going to go this night as well but changed those plans to another night. Instead, we are going to head over to the Poly and get a Dole whip and see if we can catch Wishes from the beach, unless we are too tired and decide to head back to Pop.

Don’t forget the Electrical Water Pageant! It’s supposed to drift by the Poly at 9pm so that’ll give us plenty of time to monorail over, grab one of these babies:

2010_1201Misc0201.jpg

....and set up shop on the beach in some loungers. Hopefully the weather cooperates and we can just relax and maybe play in the sand. I can try to get some better pictures of the EWP too.

2010_1201Misc0205.jpg

I think Hallowishes should be around 9:30pm and we can follow along with the music piped in by the Poly. It’s a fabulous way to see them and I hope we’ve had enough energy to last this long into the evening.

I don't know how I missed this ptr. I found it about a week ago and just finished reading the WHOLE thing today. Tracy I love reading your familys trs! And it looks like you two ladies are going to have the time of your lives. I'm glad I got all caught up before you left. I wanted to let you know I have stolen your movie night ideas and am shamelessly passing them off to River as my owm;). I loved your last trs Christmas pics so much that my mother and I have decided to go over Thanksgiving 2013 and it will be a suprise trip for River we will just pick him up after school on a Friday and keep driving till we get there. I don't know how I'll keep the secrete! I can't wait to hear about the rest of your trip.

Another wonderful movie night! I bet Ariana was especially excited. That's too funny that you'd already bought that shirt! I knew it would be prefect since she loves LK so much. Speaking of Lion King, they just released the Lion King vinylmation series yesterday and I had to pick some up.

Your Day 8 plans look awesome as well! It looks a lot more relaxed than your first MK day which I'm sure will be nice. And I love watching Wishes from the beach at the Poly, it's such a nice relaxing view without the crowds! I hope you guys make it that long! Oh, and i'm also excited that you've made it to this day (Sept 30) because this is the day I arrive for my Wine & Dine Half Marathon trip! :goodvibes

Well hi! :welcome: Thanks for hopping aboard and catching up :goodvibes Feel free to steal away any and all movie ideas! I hope you guys enjoy yourselves!

Fantastic about your 2013 trip! What a surprise -- I think I'd burst not telling the secret but good thing you have your Mom to plan and share the details with! I really do have to get back to that Christmas TR don't I?

Thank heavens I only do my hair every two months or else I'd be visiting the Disney Store even more often than I already am. The shirt is perfect for Ariana. I've been steadfastly staying away from vinylmations even though they're darn cute -- must... not... get.... sucked.... in!

Our wish lists are ambitious but really the overall theme is to take a relaxed approach -- is that possible? :rotfl:
