After an eventful morning...
We had reservations for 12:05 at Liberty Tree Tavern. We arrived about five minutes early and they were pretty busy at this time. We waited about five minutes and were taken to our table.
Appetizers: Blair ordered tavern fried cheese with marinara sauce.
I ordered New England clam chowder.
Entrees: Blair ordered New England pot roast which was braised beef in a cabernet wine and mushroom sauce served with mashed potatoes and garden vegetables.
I ordered the Pilgrim's Feast which was traditional roast turkey with herb bread dressing, mashed potatoes and a garden vegetable.
Desserts: We both ordered strawberry shortcake which was strawberry pound cake with berries, and whipped cream.
Overall, this was probably our least favorite, which is not to say that it was bad, just that it was not as good as the other restaurants. When on the deluxe dining plan, we avoid the buffets because they do not offer as good of a value as the traditional table service restaurants because you don't get an appetizer and dessert. The choices for non buffet table service restaurants at The Magic Kingdom are few and far between, so this was our choice out of limited options. Blair enjoyed the fried cheese, but in her words, "you can't really mess up fried cheese." I had been looking forward to the clam chowder and it did not disappoint. The pot roast wasn't quite Blair's cup of tea, but we've come to the conclusion that maybe she just doesn't like any kind of "stewed" beef application. She said that it tasted like something from a cafeteria. My turkey entree was very dry. The potatoes were good and the stuffing was good, but if it weren't for the gravy, the turkey itself would have been inedible. I loved the strawberry shortcake. It was a strawberry flavored pound cake with strawberry sauce drizzled over it and whipped cream on top. It was either my favorite dessert of the trip, or tied for first with a dessert that I'll get to later. I can't decide yet.

Like I said earlier, there really weren't a lot of options for table service dining at The Magic Kingdom. While it wasn't terrible, we probably won't go to Liberty Tree Tavern again.
