I like the cheap price ($94.00) for the pass but I think we had these the last time we ordered online and I hated it.They have you go to the customer service window and that takes forever and you have to show ID for tickets and then they put a sticker over the tickets and have everyone sign them. I had to show proof one time when going into park.I like to save the tickets for my scrap book but the sticker covers the ticket face and that stinks.I know it's a stupid thing to worry about.

I just used the 5 for 2 a few weeks ago and didn't have to go to the ticket booth at all. Just had to insert the Visa I used when I paid for them online into a ticket vending machine near the ticket booths. I believe I also needed a purchase verification number. There were no lines at all and it was the weekend after Easter when the parks were still crowded.

Also, no sticker over the ticket at all. It is true we had to show our IDs when we entered the park but I thought this was a minimal hassle.

That's right. If you use will call, you take the credit card you bought them with and your confirmation number to the kiosk outside the park, , input it inot the machine, and it will give you your actual passes. There has never been a line when I got them, and I have gone at spring break not even first thing in the morning. There were huge lines at the ticket windows, though.

If I remember right, they will have you sign the back of them when you first use it and activate it. They did ask for id for me, but of course not for my kids. I think they only asked for it the first time. They did not put any kind of sticker on it. I save them too.

I purchased them for my wife and I for our September trip.. ( i hope I remember my PIN # and Disney Visa I used to pay for them)
Just a question... the 5 days, do entries into both parks on one day count as ONE or TWO uses? Can I go to bothe parks for 5 consecutive days (not that I am going to )

tiggerguy2000,

I purchased 5-day bonus passes online and used them last week. I retrieved the passes from a kiosk outside IOA, there's also a kiosk outside USO. I didn't have to go to the customer service window. I did have to sign the ticket and show my ID the first time I used the ticket. That's the only time that I had to show my ID.

NandP,

Yes, entries into both parks on the same day count as one day, not two. You can visit both IOA and USO everyday for the 5 days.

HTH! :D

I get mine sent to me ahead of time so it maybe different. The passes I have got the signature part on the front and like I said it was a few trips ago so they might have changed things.my instructions say I have to sign them in front of them at the park office.I like to get the tickets so I dont have to worry about pin numbers and inserting my card that I dont have to carry.I use my room card key for all purchases.I carry no or little cash when im at the parks.I will have concierge take care of the tickets when I arrive.:wave2:

I just received my tickets today and it just says to sign them. I paid the $11 to have them sent to my house. I hope this means that I don't have to wait on any other lines.
Also, right now they're running a special that you can get the passes for $5 less, it will pop up on screen while you're looking at the tickets selections.

We have used the 5 for 2 passes on three occassions and have never had a problem. We simply take our confirmation number to the Kiosk and in we go.

It truly has been a great deal for us!::yes::

I agree - I've used these tickets twice now. I go to the kiosk with my confirmation number and the credit card I used to purchase them. Nothing to it! No lines - easy!

are the kiosks only at the park entrances? Do they have any in the lobby at the on-site hotel(s)?

Is there an expiration on the tickets (not valid after...)??? We're thinking about going next year. Just wondering if I could purchase these now and use next May.

I purchased these tickets for our Feb '05 trip. To my knowledge, there is no activation date and the expiration date is not activated until the first day of use...then you have the 5 days to use them.

Mine were sent to my house. Should I wait until I arrive at Universal to sign them? I don't see any instructions about when to sign them?

They want you to sign them in front of them. You have to show ID when you get to the park.

I got mine in the mail also. Didn't want to worry about confirmation numbers, or making sure I brought the right credit card used to purchase. Last year, we got tickets through Universal Vacations package. I don't remember any sticker being put on the tickets, but we did have to sign when we entered the park. This year, we purchased through the Kraft special. Have received tickets and will wait to sign until we enter for the first time later this month.
