I have some 5 day Universal Studios tickets from 2000 and I wanted to see if they have any days left on them. Sorry if this was asked before, but the search won't work for me here at work. Is there any way to check them without having to go into line and run them through the machine...anywhere online or through a phone call or something?

Thanks
Chris

The 5 day tickets have always expired 4 days after the first day of use. If you have used even one day on the ticket, it is expired. If you haven't used any days, they will still be good.

These were still good the following year when I went back and used a day or two off of each. I know I used a couple days when I got them, but now there's 5 of them with all different numbers I wrote and crossed off and I'm thoroughly confused. They were part of a deal where I bought 3 day with 2 free days. I KNOW they never expired, which was the reason I bought them at the time. They have numbers on the back and some typing as well.

All of the tickets that I have ever seen with free days expire. I even bought 5 day tickets which were called bonus tickets when I came to Universal in 2001 and and they expired within 5 days. I have never seen or heard of any that don't expire so I can't help you. You can only check the tickets at the park in person.

Is this true? You can not find out any other kind of tickets STATUS over the PHONE or over the NET? What about reward tickets people get with their credit card points?
I let my hubby use one of my 2day 2park universal credit card rewards tickets that I got in 2004 and 2005, total of 5 tickets, and I told him, make sure you write your name and put that one day is left for U in that ticket. He did none of the things I asked him, and when he came back, he just put the one day left ticket with my other tickets.
So then, I will have to bring all 5 tickets to the park just to find out which one is his one day ticket? Theme Park life is NOT easy!!!!!

Just to update...I called Universal Studios and after being transferred two different times, I finally got the lady at Guest Services who said you have to go to the front office and they will check for you. So ines...it does appear that you can't check online or anywhere but at the guest services office.

About them expiring...here's the deal...

These tickets were buy 3 days and get 2 additional days free. The big selling point was they never expired. We went to Orlando in January 2001 for my cousin's Magic Kingdom wedding. There was 5 of us. 4 of us used 2 days each (I think) and my aunt used only one day. So we ended up having 4 tickets with 3 days (I think) and 1 ticket with 4 days. We went back the next year. There was only 3 of us that time. The three of us went twice (I think). There was no problems getting in. No expirations. They worked just fine a year later. That trip I really expected to go another day and finish those tickets, but it rained and we didn't end up using them. Then they got mixed up with the other ones and I didn't keep track. I went with my son two years ago and used two more of the tickets for one day and they again worked just fine. At that time, I was in a hurry and didn't get all the tickets checked out...I wish I had. So I have 5 tickets and I am not sure which ones have any days...or if any of them have days left. I thought if there was a way to check online or via phone, I would do that. If I get there and there's no days left, I'll buy a couple. I love those parks and so does my 8 year old.

Thanks
Chris

Since opening in 1990, there have been HUNDREDS of ticket deals, so please understand that saying you have a certain kind of ticket can be really difficult to confirm on the phone or online. Truly, the only way to be 100 percent sure is to check at the gate.

CFioren-when you first posted, you said you had five day tickets. Automatically, Five day tickets, which are a ticket stock, do expire in five days.

THREE day tickets with a Two Day free offer attached are a different story and require checking with guest services at the front.

Hope you have a blast when you come to the parks.

Neither Disney nor Universal will give you information over the phone or on the internet. Both require you to check usage at the park---Too many ticket scalpers and eBay sellers.
