5 day park hopper/ special line???

Hi all...

I know i've read about there being a special line(s) to be able to get into the parks if you have a longer park hopper. Is this still the case? If so, how is the process now? I know when it first started, people complained that the lines took a long time. I'm curious what its like now... TIA

Been here for over a week now, there are no special lines based on # of days tickets vs. passes or anything, all one big line. Actually today the line was not that long and mid day they are very short.

Are you maybe thinking about the fact that lines were slow for a little while while CMs adjusted to the need to take photos of anyone with a multi-day ticket?

I have never heard of there being a "special" line for people with longer tickets. I would be interested in where you saw that.

When they first started checking ids with passes Linder than 3 days they had a separate line. This was probably November.

Well thank you for the info. I thought I read about there being a couple of the lines set aside for people who had say a 4 or 5 day hopper when they first started taking photos. I'm pretty sure I read it here on Disboards.

Well, I'm glad to hear that isn't the case. Does it feel like the lines take longer now with the new photo thing??

It did happen...for a few weeks. It started when we were there the week of October 23rd.
Like others have mentioned, it is no longer the case.

We were there in March April with 5 day P/H. it took about 2 minutes from start of photo taken to exchanging voucher to getting ticket and walking through gate..
every day after that , it took less than a minute to have ticket scanned, photo to pop up and get through gate.. longest park after first photo was taken, was getting in line behind a large group going into together and all 12 of them needed photos taken. of course all the ladies decided at the last minute that they needed to fix their hair and make up..

Thanks for this info, we will be there in a few weeks and I am trying to get all of my barrings straight before we get there .
