5 Birthday celebration!

Hi all!!!
We will be celebrating my middle’s daughter birthday at Disney. She’s turning 5, her baby sister just turned 1 and is starting to get a lot of attention and she is going through the phase of “I love you all but nobody loves me”"... so, I wanted to do sth special. At this moment I have reservations for CP, BoG and whispering Canyon (ai’ll give up one) and we wanted to go to the chip and dale bonfire (as she loves bonfires, singing and chip&dale).

I wanted to ask you, do you think these restaurants are good for a birthday celebration or would you choose another one (if possible in MK or resorts as we do not have the hopper)

From what I have seen Disney is great with birthdays for kids and adults. On our last trip my DH celebrated his. He agreed to wear the birthday pin. Everywhere he went CMs wished him a Happy Birthday. Some guests did as well. We had breakfast at Cape May. He was brought a donut with a candle in it and all of the characters signed a card for him. At Tutto Italia lunch he has a dairy allergy so they brought sorbet for him with a candle in it. Dinner was at Le Cellier and the same thing happened. We notice because we eat mostly at TS that no matter where we were that week they made birthdays special. We loved seeing how each place celebrated.

Disney is a great place to celebrate a birthday! Have her get a birthday pin and wear it and cast members will likely say Happy Birthday when they see her. Tell the restaurant and usually they will come out with a birthday treat and some places, like Crystal Palace will give you a signed birthday card from the characters. I think Crystal Palace is a great one for a birthday. I'm not sure that they would do much at BOG just because that's quick serve for lunch (assuming you're having lunch there). And I've never been to Whispering Canyon so I can't say what they do there for birthdays.

Our first trip was for DD's 5th birthday. She got lots of birthday cupcakes, a couple of birthday cards, confetti, a signed place mat, a birthday pin, birthday wishes from CM's and they sang "Happy Birthday" to her at CP & 1900 PF breakfast. We did lots of character meals on that trip: CM, CP, Cinderella's Castle, Akerhus, GG, H&V.

Even if it's not her birthday, it's Disney! Celebrate as long as you are there. If you already booked your dining reservations, call and have them put a note on all of your reservations that you are celebrating (name's) 5th birthday!!!

CP was great for my son's 3rd birthday. They did birthday confetti at his table, a special cupcake with a candle and a birthday card that all the characters had signed, plus of course Pooh and friends were there. I think BoG just did the candle in his cupcake (this was before the new menu).
