Speaking of Ducky Williams, has anyone had the joy of meeting him before?
I read that you can pay a fee to have him draw a character for you..........does he draw any Disney character? Would he draw Tigger for us?

Hi Sherrie,

I asked a friend who has been on two cruises with "Ducky" to respond to your question. He told me that Don did not draw anything for audience members for a fee on either of the cruises. Since he still works for Disney that wouldn't be allowed.

He gives a talk about how he came to work at Disney. On entry, audience members receive a raffle ticket. During his presentation, he draws Disney characters on large sheets of paper as he talks. Then, at the end of the presentation, raffle tickets are drawn (usually 10 or so) and the winning ticket holders may select any of the drawings that Don drew. Then, later, if you're lucky, he may sign them for you.

To answer your FE question, I guess it would be a good idea to state who the gift is from. I didn't think about doing this my first time giving them out, but I am going to do it this time.

Ok everyone, I updated the DGF as to what we are doing and they are totally onboard about the FE items and their minds are turning as we speak. We decorated our cruise shirts last night and had so much fun. It was long overdue, but makes it feel so much closer to leaving!!

I looked over the most updated FE list and did alittle math, you may want to check for yourselves, but for those who are buying for individuals I got

17 women
10 men
5 "young men" aged 13-16 (this group is the hardest for me to pick something for, I think I'll try Spencers)
1 young lady (10)
1 little lady (4)
5 little guys aged 3-8

If anyone wants to give a hint on their kids Disney "likes" that would be great !!

I didn't get my documents (looking for a pouting emoticon)! Also have not gotten my FE from Gradysmom yet. DS8 is not feeling well and DS13 is, well, he's 13... Weather has been crumby, work is insane, and by kitten count doubled yesterday from 4 to 8, but I don't "have" any cats. Very long story!! I am so ready for this vacation. I just hope I can hang on to my sanity long enough to get us packed and ready to go. Anyone know if they have a nice little padded room somewhere on the Wonder? I might be needing it. :stressed: :exhausted: : overwelmed: I need some new smileys.

Ours came also. But DMIL's (Mother-In-Law) didn't. she was a little nervous about not having them, but I explained that they will be here.

Emotions are getting higher and higher at my house, with the cruise getting closer.

I feel your pain with DS13...it's as if our sweet little boy has been replaced with an alien man-boy that seems to have a significantly diminished capacity to be pleasant (or make rational decisions).

I have no cruise docs either, but now that I know they're out there, I can rush home to the mailbox! Being an obsessive vacation planner (I'm sure none of you have this horrible affliction), I finally finished and distributed the packing list for our cruise yesterday. I've learned the hard way to leave nothing to chance when dealing with teen boys!

We'll be staying at the MCO Hyatt pre-cruise and the Contemporary post-cruise. Anybody else?

We haven't received our cruise documents either. I guess I didn't even realize they came out this soon. I was thinking mid May. Now I'm excited to check my mailbox!

We're getting more and more anxious for the cruise. The next few weeks are busy with school activities so that will help pass the time. Can't wait!!

Chris and I will be at the Hyatt before the cruise. We stayed there before our 2008 cruise and it was really convenient.

Morning everyone,

We got our documents...mailed to mom's house. And mom got her documents...also mailed to mom's house. Good thing we are traveling together!

So, I'm making cruise shirts for our "party". By making, I mean I am making iron transfers for t shirts. They are lime green and will say "Richard's Cruise". So, that's what we will wear on embarkation day. We will be the ones dressed like clones. But it's a nice tribute to mom's husband.

We will be leaving our house 30 days from today to drive to FL. And...its our ten year anniversary today. Happy anniversary, honey. No exciting plans. We are going on a cruise in a month after all!
