Saw it.

Should have been Dreams...at least then it would be different from the other cruiseline's Dream.

Won't be on it that soon....if ever.

I'm disappointed in the décor. A little too flashy...just like the other cruiselines.

Miss Stacey - Am I the only one excited on this thread? I must stay off the main boards because of a lot of "disappointment" is being registered. Very much like the negativity that arose with the changes in Food and Wine.

Maybe it will be too flashy, maybe I will be missing the Magin and the Wonder, but I do like the idea of the Garden resturant which changes season (or from day to night) - after all, there are no porholes. And the aquaduct over the ocean....neat! So, I have the weekend to think about whether I want to try the maiden voyage.....

That's true...there are also some good "plusses". I'm just not getting too excited because I doubt I'll ever see it in person. But you never know.

Oh yes, you will....see it in person that is. We are booking the wedding cruise for "insert name of appropriate first grandchild of this bunch to be married on Castaway Cay".... you never know.....(Since we first have to marry off the kids AFTER they grow up, and for all the Dads out that, that will be in about 40 or 50 years, but then, as I was saying, you never know.

Besides, you will be getting the Wonder and it will be sooo tempting to be able to drive and board...instead of the airlines. That is why we are spoiled at the Cape.

You two are a step ahead of us. I have NO IDEA what we're doing in 2011. Supposed to be an island trip year.
Or maybe it will be a WEDDING year....and after paying for said wedding, we won't be able to afford to go anywhere.
My darling daughter swears up and down that I once told her she had a wedding budget of $35,000.

Good Morning All! It's airshow weekend. Beautiful weather for flying! After 14 years of living here - I'm still excited by having the airshow in my backyard. The Blue Angels are featured this year. They were buzzing the house the past two days during their practice.

John was up and out of the house very early to take photos at the Zoo Boo 5K run this morning. Mike was out soon after for band practice. They head up to Indianapolis in 11 days. The tension and the work is immense for these kids. I'm happy that the director is also pressuring the kids to keep their grades up to remain eligible to march. If Mike isn't listen to his parents at least I know he's listening to his directors.

I got the phone call from the travel agent about booking on Dream and I passed. I'll let everyone else shake out all the bugs before we try it.

I know we will get it on someday since it is our home port. We are finding that ask the kids get older Holland America or Radison is starting to look a little better.

Back up to 80° today. I can't keep up with these changes!!

I did 50 minutes on Wii Fit today and then a half hour on the treadmill. Nowhere near Jim's speed yet. Just over 2 miles an hour, and I did 3/4 of a mile. Still, for an older, out of shape Pooh-sized person, that's not bad.

Hey Stacey, Good for you!! What exercises are you doing on the Wii Fit? The Wii will be mine in 10 days when my son gets the X-box and I can't wait to be able to do the Wii Fit when I want to. Keep up the good work. We Pooh-sized people have to start somewhere. Just keep swimming, just keep swimming.

I'd BEEN swimming this summer and was hoping our brand new YMCA would have some good water aerobics for this winter. But nooooo....they put in an OUTDOOR pool, very small, & no aerobics.

So on the Wii, I do the balancing to start, as a warm-up....then the step aerobics, then I run. I can't do the strength training until we start the strength training on my shoulder at therapy. But I love to bowl on the Wii.

I like the balancing, too. That's what I start out with and then do some of the yoga and strength training. I also need to get on the ab-lounger. Or a tummy-tuck. :0 I have the pool, too. Been using that one for sure. I just like to eat too much.

That's what Sharon asked at 4:15 am this morning!!!

We ran the Daytona Beach half marathon and it started at 6:00 am. At least we got an extra hour of sleep.
