Our little town is voting soon on whether or not to allow a WalMart.

I would fight it to the death just because it's WalMart! Don't even get me started about them!!! I gladly pay more at Target rather than shop at WalMart...

Target just doesn't have as much stuff as WalMart, and they also have groceries....I'm just so sick of Target.
Plus our limited grocery stores up here are really expensive.

Good Morning everyone as well. Leaving for Food and Wine and Fun with Scoopie and friends.....

We'll be at Food and Wine on Oct. 30 and Oct 31 - we get in the evening of the 29th. We're doing MNSSHP on the 31st. We had planned on flying home late on Nov. 1, but had to change our plans for Lauren and Ashley to make it back for a mandatory meeting...... We'd love to see everybody that we can! We're staying at SSR....

Sad, but it's true. I could not sleep so just gave up and got up.

Maybe it was taking Lisa to the college Expo that night which kept me up.

Or maybe my body is just getting use to getting up earlier and earlier for training. This morning the alarm went off at 4:30 so I could ride the bike 17 miles to the group run.

I'm still thinking it's Lisa.

I don't think it is an excuse, but a reason!! It's also the reason I'm spending a lot of time in the garage or running or riding.....just plan old hiding!!!!

Nope... my Rotary Club's Charity Golf Tourney was today... our company is the title sponsor, so I end up being the co-chair EVERY YEAR. I am exhausted. Got to the course at 6:30AM, left at 4:30. Great day, though!

Loved the balloon ride at DTD. Yes, you must try the real thing sometime! I was petrified of heights and going up in one in AZ about 10 years ago was my "cure"!!! (OK, not at first -- I stood in the middle of the basket and had everyone surround me, but about mid-way through the flight I inched my way over to the edge and actually LOVED it!!!)
