and they even have COFFEE CREAMER !!!!!!!!!!!!

good night all

Irene, did you see the big DIS announcement today?

They have changed all the Fall races for next year into one.....a Wine and Food half marathon to be run at night and ending with a party in Epcot Wine and Food.

They are even offering a two person relay so you only have to run 6.5 miles each.

Sharon and I will be there, she doesn't know it yet.

Kiki - best of luck for your Mother as she starts her next round of theropy - on two feet.....

Thanks. She is very scared... tomorrow is just a consult. I'm sure they'll put her mind at ease and answer her questions... I wish I could be there with her - and unfortunately, my brother is here for the weekend, and my sister can't get out of work... so its just her and my dad going... he doesn't listen very well.

Ohhh... I HATE when my Mom and Dad go alone! I never get the whole story.
Good for your Mom, for wanting the prosthetic. I bet my Mom would choose to stay in a wheelchair....and that would be a shame.

OOOOOOOOPPPPS

GOOD LUCK staCey !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

remember handie CAP ????????????

Our room is already handicap. I don't want to be even MORE handicapped!
But thanks for reminding me to get my parking tag out of the big car for tomorrow.

Catching up!

Pam - Ashley looks lovely.

Garry - hope your Brother is doing better.

Kiki - good luck to your Mom!

Stacey - good luck to you today!

The appointment went well... I just spoke to her, and she said, "You know what they told me???? That I'm going to walk again!!" Dad is so excited that he's going to be able to make good on his promise to get her back here to Florida for a visit.

She just seemed to have it in her head that she wasn't going to ever walk again. Yes, it will still be a long road, and she'll be spending every Friday morning at their office for the forseeable future, but she is really enthusiastic. She told the technician that she was worried because right now, she can only stand up with her walker for 4 minutes, at most, before she gets tired and has to sit down... he told her that she can walk pretty darn far in 4 minutes!! (And her stamina will improve once she's up and around again.) Thanks for the prayers and PD... they're working!!!

Way to go mom!!! Good for her. I'm glad her and your dad are excited. It's going to be a little hard for her but I think she'll do it. More prayers and PD coming her way.

That is so totally wonderful!! Good for her! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Here you go Virgil...the whole "doc speak" diagnosis:

1. Calcific Tendinitis of the distal infraspinatus and teres minor tendons with underlying stress response or reactive edema in the posterior humerus at the insertion. 11 mm x 5 mm x 14 mm low proton density, low T2, low T1 signal intensity.

My speak....basically a buildup of calcium between the shoulder and the tendons that surround it...the rotator cuff. Causes mucho mucho pain.

2. Moderate subracromial subdeltoid bursitis.

My speak....old age

3. Moderate strain of the supraspinatus/myotendinous junction

My speak...who the heck makes up these words, and how do you guys memorize them????

4. Moderate left AC joint arthrosis and stress response

My speak...I dunno.... they gave me a cortisone shot in the shoulder, ordered 6 weeks of physical therapy, and said if I don't do it, I'll get something awful called Frozen Shoulder...where the shoulder won't move at all.

5. Moderate glenohumeral joint osteoarthritis

NOW....if they can say something simple like Frozen Shoulder, that we all understand...why can't they speak English for the rest of it?
:confused3:confused3;);)

Tomorrow is Day 2 of the yard sale Sharon and I are having. I was there today for a few hours, between appointments. And it was HOT. Over 100°...we're breaking records this weekend. It just figures. I didn't make much money today, but Saturday and Sunday are always better. Every little bit helps. We're trying to build up some casino cash for our post-Christmas quickie cruise.

GREAT NEWS staCey!!!!!!!!!!!!
now iif you do what the doc SAYS TOO DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
see I can say that

tell sharon I said HI ;~)

babbies are waiting and lots to get done

HAVE A GOOD DAY ALL

It's that time of year again... homecoming. Our kids are all getting WAY too old!! (But of course, we aren't aging a bit!)
Sorry these are so big!

I think I'm the lucky one. Lisa went with a group of 6 girls. :thumbsup2
Nice pictures. Can't even tell it's cold on the beach.

It wasn't THAT cold on the beach... it was actually really nice!
The rest of the group wasn't ready yet... she went with 2 other couples, and I think a few more strays, but they were still getting dressed. Kyle's house is directly across the street from that beach approach, so beach pix were easy. I didn't wait for the rest of the crowd to be done... I had to leave. Just got a text from her that they finally got to the school - dinner took longer than expected... gee, maybe because its Biketoberfest AND homecoming, and they went to La Fiesta, which is always busy anyway!!!

KIKI ?????????

why is her second toe BIGGER than her big toe?????????????????????????

just wondered??????????????????
