First of all congrats to Lisa!

So when is Regionals (and diving at Vortex) ?

States will be the weekend of March 19 & 20. In two weeks we head south to Palm Beach area for her next meet and a little diving for Matt & Jim. The boys will come to her meet in Daytona in mid February. :flower:

Mike...I know you might check the boards at work...so I wanted to remind you to see if anyone has hay or straw for our cold kitty! :cat:
Thx.

Right now I'm trying to prevent a migraine, so I'm going to take advil and lie down for a bit. Hopefully it will pass!

better close the blinds, turn up the fire, and tell the kids to Shhhhhhhh. :D

and I will remember to ask.

Just got back from a management retreat/quail hunt (I didn't hunt) in Georgia... it was 19 when I got up this morning!!!!:earseek: Wow- I don't miss THAT about New England! (Hmmm... wonder how my BIL is doing with 2 feet of snow in Boston... at least we were nice enough to give him our snowblower when we moved...)

Yea Lisa- great job in your meet! Elizabeth has a cheer comp. this weekend at Hard Rock Live, and the following weekend (Yes SUPERBOWL weekend.. when my PATS are on...) is the US Open in Orlando. So- its two weekends in a row of that usual chaos for me. No parks in between, though!! Just boringness!!

I feel that way sometimes when I'm sitting there in the dark for the dance competitions that Alicia goes to. Just waiting in the dark like a mushroom waiting for "our" turn.

Good Luck to Elizabeth, go team! Go!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Maybe you can work it out like Matt and I did, we spent our time at AllStar Cafe watching the games.

Better be more encouraging, Jim. In about 3 years and 9 months, you're going to need a new dive buddy!

Aww come on Hon! Matt's not a light switch. Although diving with a daughter does involve a different set of parameters than do boys. :earseek:
If you doubt that, just look below!!

I'm just sayin'... When they're off to college, they aren't available for those last minute weekend trips.

That is why I have Red, my replacement dive buddy.

Amanda's law states that your posts must include one or more of the following:
font changes, size changes (although I thought size didn't matter), color changes, bold, underline or italics, and/or smilies:wizard:  :cool1: :Pinkbounc .

Amanda's law states that if it's not inconvenient for you to post, then you did it wrong.

Amanda's law's first ammendment states that smilies, font changes, size changes etc do NOT count if they are part of your permanent signature:tongue: .

Some ppl have expressed a great love for Amanda's law. Some have chosen to deliberately ignore it (you know who you are!)

Thanks for the wonderful laugh ! I love your summarization!:)

That should be easy to find someplace to watch the game at. Of course you will have to give up watching the competition. Big choice.

That was close, Mary. You were not in compliance with Amanda's law. I quoted you and it was clearly plain black font. And when I went back you now have blue and bigger text. Whew. That was a close one!

Hehe, you forget that Mary is the only one who is exempt from Amanda's law.......she inspired the law, therefore, she gets a pass ;)

I am not a good judge, as my blood hasn't permanently thinned to Florida-ness yet... but I would say sweatshirts- easier to tote around- the kids can tie them aroung their waist (yes, they'll tell you it looks geeky, but too bad), or they are easier to stuff into a bag or whatever. We are getting a cold front Sat night into Sunday, with high's only around 60 on Sun... be prepared to wear them all day if necessary. Have a great time!!! I'll be there next weekend for my DD's cheer :cheer2: competition.

We ended up taking sweatshirts, and boy oh boy were we glad on Sunday! It was C-O-L-D!!!! I was expecting hihgs of only 50 but I dont think it ever got that high. The temp seemed to drop as the day progressed!

Sorry Sue, but I just HAD to chuckle at that last line! I hope it wasn't as bad as you thought.

Just wanted to say good night using color, SINCE ALL I WILL SEE TOMORROW IS WHITE. Can you tell I am not crazy about snow.

Thank you again Amanda, love the law!
