We are DVC as well and renewed our AP about two weeks before the announcement. Oh well - we'll take advantage of it this coming December.

Those of you who have AP's and aren't Florida Residents can now get the Disney Dining Experience card for $50. This gives you 20% off dining (including alcohol) at a large number of locations. We have ours ordered for our June trip.

Mary - where are you going in June?

I have been trying to decide whether the DDE cards are going to benefit us or not. We dont eat at a lot of the high end restaraunts in WDW. We do have several trips planned this year though. We have ps at Chef Mickeys and CRT in March. Not for sure what we are doing as far as eating in June. We are thinking about going down for the weekend thing that Project X the middle of June.

Boy, I'll say!!

It's like going to the lake or some other "public" camping area on Memorial Day. We don't EVEN do that anymore!!

We still will, Ginnie Springs. It is fun to watch the pick up truck haul the tubes back with forth with their dogs and beer cans hanging out. Thankfully, they do not dive so not much of a problem for us and also give Matt something to look at while sitting at the bottom :earseek: :earseek:

My kids already know, their Mom is old and really doesn't care. :cool1:

But I still love you, remember what they say about wine get's better with aging. Just don't turn into vinager on me!!

Our neighbors electric bill averages about $400 a MONTH (all electric homes)...so keeping ours at around $200 really helps out!

It just takes a little lifestyle change but it's worth it!

More for WDW!!!

I thought I was going to die when I saw my light bill was $300 this month. Down goes the thermostat. That cuts into my disney trips.

In the winter my electric is about $200 a month. I keep the temp at 68. Can't go lower cause that would be too cold for DM. Plus Jesse and Sam would probably do some whining

Gotta love those Central Florida rednecks.... as long as it's Bud they're drinking, I'm happy- that's more $ in my paycheck!!!!

Arizona does have its advantages, I guess. For November, our electric bill was $66, and for Dec it was $97.

Okay, fine....so in August it was $250

Mr Scuba...I saw you post on that thread on the main boards again....you have to stop yourself......people will start to think you like wine.

Heh...you guys were right, adding the "reason edited" is fun!!!

START to think??

Hmm... its about time for a good glass of wine- thanks for reminding me.

Sadly, I am short on wine. The case of Banfi won't get here until the end of the month. I tried to buy some at Sam's Club yesterday, and would you believe that it was 11:55 am and I couldn't buy it? I forgot about the NM liquor laws regarding Sunday sales. I looked at the line of people behind us figured they would not be happy if we tried to make them wait 5 minutes to pay, and left it there.
