That's going a bit far for most of us. Although I dressed up as a women one time for Halloween. First gal they had seen with hair covered cleavage!

yeeeeuuuuu!!

You should've seen this girl I went to high school with........

MrMartha/HandsomeHandyman.......I've always kept a huge bottle of peroxide in the laundry room. It takes out blood stains like nothing else. And add a little meat tenderizer to it, and you really have a good cleaner. Hey...the Queen of Clean lives in Phoenix, she has all kinds of cool tricks. (No, not me....there really IS a Queen of Clean)

Ha....just realized...we could shorten his name to MMHH. I amuse myself!

Chilly here this a.m. with some frost, but it will warm up. These are the days where we change clothes 3-4 times a day. Good thing I have the new washer.

Did you all see the thread on the main boards about Castaway Cay? I see a few of us put our 2 cents' worth in..... I LOVED the cooler day we had there on the Xmas cruise. Much more so than a hot day. It isn't a good place to snorkel, but I did miss doing the Banana Boat. But it was also fun to be able to walk all the way to the end of the hiking trail. I'd never do that on a hot day. And the best part was sitting at Head's Up, looking across at an empty Family Beach, and pretending I lived there! My own private island. Ahhhhhhhh.........

Jordan caught me looking at homes and property on St. John last night. Now she thinks we're moving there. Not until I win the lottery, or she marries a rich man who loves (or wants to get rid of) his mother in law! Our boat driver (Captain Nautica's) told us that you can't buy land there. We thought he meant that they didn't sell property there (as in: protected, etc). What he meant was, unless you're Bill Gates, you can't buy property there!

Off to work. Must pay for that dream vacation home.

You might want to consider GA too

Where is Alpharetta? I'll be in Sylvester (which seems like the absolute middle of nowhere) next weekend for a Quail Hunting management retreat. (No, I don't hunt... but that's what you have to put up with when you're outnumbered by men 12:2 on the management team.) (And the other female, being the owner's wife, is an avid hunter.) Here birdie, birdie, birdie :duck:

Hmmm ... sounds like a fun weekend! I don't envy you.

Alpharetta is a suburb of Atlanta. Pretty much 30 miles due north of downtown. We've lived here for 6.5 years now.

Ok ... I don't know you all very well yet. When I read this I had visions of someone cleaning blood stains at a murder scene. What kind of people am I cruising with??? Or am I just watching too much trash on TV?

We usually stop around Mt. Zion Road (at Longhorn) on the drive to or from WDW. Are you anywhere near that?

Total opposite of where I'm headed.... "Deliverance Country".

Actually, the trip isn't that bad... we end up having a lot of laughs, and sometimes even get some business stuff accomplished! I don't dare pick up a gun... my depth perception is horrible, and I don't want to go to jail for accidentally killing one of my co-workers. :duck: Besides, if I am going to shoot at something, its going to be a lot bigger than a glorified pidgeon!

I assume that's Mt. Zion Road in Atlanta. I guess mileage-wise it's probably 30 miles or so, but we don't get out of our "comfort zone" (Alpharetta/Roswell) too often - sad, I know! I assume you come down I-75 when driving through. For a point of reference, we're closer to Kennesaw or Marietta, which are both off of I-75 north of Atlanta (before it merges with I-85).

sorry sorry sorry. when I read your other post I saw "30 miles south of downtown." (yeah, and I homeschool!)

Anyway...I'm familiar (a bit) with the Roswell area b/c my BIL lives there. He's a manager at a Subway around there somewhere. On the way home from WDW last time we stopped at Ippilito's (by Olive Garden) somewhere off of I-75.

Always seems like we hit Atlanta in the pouring rain or in the dark or during rush hour! Blech!

A translation of this whole line of conversation: one night at dinner on the 10 day cruise, Stacey was sitting at our dinner table, perfectly innocent, wearing a new baby blue microfiber blouse. Very pretty. One of our other dinner partners was about to sit down across from her with a full glass of red wine in her hand, and tripped. You get the picture, and it's not pretty.

What's this about my DH getting in touch with his feminine side? I've never seen such an animal, and we've been married for nearly 17 years!

Oh let me tell you, its always pretty intersesting. Lets just say that the company I work for falls under the umbrella of the advertiser who buys the most SuperBowl ad time.... including the first spot after kickoff.
