Oh please, that's the farthest from the truth. Like I said, sorry...I'm not thinking straight. In fact, for the next 2 1/2 weeks, I won't be so bear with me. Like everyone else, there's so much to do in so little time. And I don't work full time (out of the house, that is) like a lot of you other ladies here. Sometimes I can be a scatter brain. Especially when I have a lot on my mind. Mary, please stop by the Rad, you know you will anyway. Sorry...

Ugh... Kind of hurting this morning. We had a wonderful dinner out last night with our neighbors at a new restaurant near here (supposed to be the #2 restaurant in the state). But I definitely drank my share of the 2 bottles of wine we brought, and my head is POUNDING this morning. Jim's not making it any better... Playing xbox (Ghost Warrior, or something like that - his regular online partner is in WDW, so he was hoping to find someone to kill bad guys with online, but no go so far, so Erin's helping him find the bad guys instead), loud. Between the noise and the too-real graphics, I feel the need for Bonine.

Gonna be a L-O-N-G day, I think...

Mary - thanks for the heads-up about the new navigators. Printed them out but can't wait to actually see them in person. I don't have any comments cause these are the first ones I've ever seen. Think they're pretty cool. Prints a little small though. DH is definetly going to need his glasses.

At least it was GOOD wine! I just spoke to our neighbor and he said he's got 6 advil in his system trying to battle it out with the pain. Maybe I need more of those...

And no go on the more sleep. We're heading out in half an hour so Erin can get the "makeover" we promised her for having such a good week accident-wise.

Jim just got killed again. Time to "respawn." Where do they come up with these words?

It's a lazy day here. DH just wandered into the kitchen and DS is still in bed. He never sleeps past 8 am. I hope he's not getting sick. He was complaining of a sore throat last night. I tried a new recipe for breakfast. It's a french toast stratta with fresh strawberries on top. Very yummy. Of course I've been up since 6:30, as usual. Looks like we'll be skipping church today.

Ah, that is my Nick. No warning. All over me. All over the table at the ski lodge. All over the bed while on vacation. No warning ever.

Hope he's feeling better soon. Let's get all these kids well in the next three weeks.

Yesterday afternoon we were to have 2 families over. One mom called yesterday morning and said that she had been throwing up all night and said that no one in their family would come. I thanked her. The bad thing was that a little girl from the other family spent the night at their house. I sat my girls down on the sofa and told them that they were NOT to pick up and drink out of a juice box that they weren't certain was theirs.

We had a great time. The weather was nice - kids played outside & ran around the yard. Bruce grilled. The adults sat around & had some adult beverages.

BTW ... Julia, hope Adam is feeling better. Karen, hope KT is feeling better too.

Glad things were quiet here this morning. I was finally able to catch up ... took me over an hour!

We're a tired bunch today. The girls have dance recital pics this afternoon so everyone MUST take a nap. We'll be hitting the hay in a few minutes.

Not sure what we're going to do about pics this year. The photographer has changed his policy. Before we paid a $10 sitting fee. He printed the pics then we picked the size photos that we wanted .. paid per sheet. Looks like he's charging a flat $45 for a package that includes the group photo. Not sure what I'll do since I have 2. There is no way I'm spending $90! My thought (before reading about the pricing change) was that I could get them photographed together. Not sure if just buying the group photo separately is even an option any more.

I had to laugh at DS comment this morning,

It was raining really hard on the way to Hebrew School but for a change we were early and DH was with us as no-one showed up to open the gym this morning so we are driving in and

DH says 'it's going to snow today - you are early'
DD says 'great, rain and snow in May'
DS says ' G-d is multi-tasking today'
