Hmm... Doing half a doc dance. Jim's and Erin's stuff came today, but not mine. Jim called DCL (he actually picked up the phone!) and was told that mine were sent separately. :confused3 Hopefully mine will be here tomorrow. I don't want to have to stay home alone!

Guess that means that you got the old forms that Virgil was talking about. Everything was in 1 booklet for us. We also got the lime green luggage tags.

Hey ljml (Linda),

Are you still cruising with us? I was just out on DCL's website checking out what's left on the ship & 7000 popped up as an available cat 8. Were you lucky enough to get an upgrade???

Virgil ours came in the new packaging with just one booklet for the two of us. Also I don't know if they are doing different colors for the different floors or what but our luggage tags are lime green. How cool is that!

Ours are also Thong... I mean Lime green color

We have 56 people on the Late dinner seating. A total of 12 tables. Three or four wait-stations....hopefully only 3.

Wow! Thanks Stacey! I just hope you told them that our servers are really going to need a good sense of humor...

I mean, look at what they've got to deal with! Wonder if first and second seating will be in the same area and rotation again.

OK!!

Hey honey, Stacey said I could bungee jump!!!!

That's fine, dear. Whatever makes you happy. Just don't take the daughter with you.

Ours documents are 1 book with lime green luggage tags also (no character tags anymore??? :sad2: )

Did anyone look at the reboard time for Cozumel? - it says 11:00pm - guess we'll have to take a few secords to double check the navigator before the mad dash to the 1st tender...

Hey guys I thought should post an update for you all. I know Garry has been quiet on the boards lately, but I thought many of you would like to know.

Yesterday we really didn't know what the news was, the nurse left a message with Gregg the DS - why would anyone ever leave an important message with a kid (ok - teen- even worse)
The message was "went in front of team, will talk to insurance about placement". After 20 minutes on hold the staff had left for the day and no one was going to be available today b/c they are having a conference at U of M for the transplant team. I left several messages with others just in case they werent at the conference.
Got 3 calls back today - :woohoo: They were able to clarify the message for me. They did present Garrys case, they have forwarded all of the test information to the insurance for pre-approval, should have answer within couple of days. Once approval is received, he is on the list. I guess they don't get insurance approval until after they have the team approval for listing. We will let you all know what we hear when we hear it.

Thank you all for your continued prayers. pixiedust: :tink: :wizard:

Vicki (wish I was going to be going with you all, but DD just wouldn't understand)

Monica - the character tags are for when you get off the ship. The old tags were either yellow or teal blue and said Magic or Wonder on them.

Thanks for the update, Vicki. Continued thoughts and prayers going out to you guys.

We'd really like to cruise with you again too....but not this time, not this cruise. You guys need to stick close to home. Tough decision, I'm sure, but necessary considering. :grouphug:

I called DCL to find our travel documents....and asked how many bags we could take.

They "the same as the airlines" - 2 plus carryon.

This is NOT, I repeat, NOT what I posted that the Travel Agent told me....

So.....please note......

sorry - thanks....

Hi Tinksdad,

We don't arrived in Orlando until about 10:45 on Friday night (5/26) do you think it is worth getting a rental car to drive to the port? What do we do about getting back to the airport when we disembark? We currently have transfers now but I want to get to port early. We are also staying at the Airport Marriott and they have a free shuttle to and from the airport. Please let me know. Thanks.

Hey, that's when WE get into MCO.... we will probably be standing next to each other on the shuttle... We are staying at the Hyatt though... and then limo'ing it over to the port (roughly $100 each way)... or you could always do Disney Transfers from the airport to the port...

Cruise Related:

I'm working with DCL as we speak.....setting up the final seating charts.

BOTH dinner seatings are now OFFICIALLY CLOSED.

No more additions at all.

Normally, they do the seating the week before a cruise, but because we have such large groups, the seating is being done today.

That just means we are getting closer!!! :cheer2:  :cool1:

Stace & Sue, that's exciting news! Thanks again for all the hard work you've put into this!

Sounds promising!!! We hope you and the family all the best and will concentrate the pixie dust and prayers!!!

Our disembarkation tags have always had Tinkerbell on them....cute...:tink:

I thought of another tip for the ladies on the cruise:

Take a couple of push-pins, or one of those easy-release hooks that stick on the wall....to hang your necklaces from. Keeps them from being tangled, and easier to find.

Okay, that didn't come out sounding nearly as important as it seemed......:guilty:
