I was just on the Budget web site and see that their Cape Canaveral office closes at 6 pm on Fridays, but is open at 8 am on Saturdays. Looks like we'll keep our car until Sat. morning so we can do last minute running around Friday evening, plus go to JB's.

Yeah! Happy to hear you'll be joining us.

Jim - have you been keeping track of how many are going to JB's. Do we need a reservation?

Sandi - I'm here, just doing morning stuff, getting laundry together, b'fast, dog's medicine, checking email......

Whew, I am exhausted already!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mary, you pirate: you !

:lmao: She wasn't even aware of it, pc's off and she's already on her way to work.

As far as JB's I'll put a map up on the site in the next few days. :)

Thanks, Mark.

Good morning everyone! Y'all certainly have been chatty over the weekend. I tried catching up last night but stopped somewhere on Sat. night. Did I miss anything?

We had one of Emily's friends & parents over Sat. afternoon/evening, so I spent all Sat. cleaning house. At least my house is CLEAN now.

Well, I should take the hint from Sue and get some laundry done this morning. I need to go Wal-Marting, be home before 11 for a siding estimate, then be at the library by 3. I got a call last night asking me if I'd work tonight (only open from 4-7). I'm just thinking that it's more vacation $$, so said yes.

Just started ds back on his Zyrtec this week. Lots of trees a bloomin' round here.

Zyrtec, Claritin, off brand....we use whatever. Sometimes Mike gets free Zyrtec samples and we switch to that.

If anyone is thinking of starting a Claritin like medication, it won't be instant results....it'll take about a week or so.

Maria and Samantha....do you guys take any allergy medications? I know without my daily claritin I'd be MISERABLE (headaches, sore throats, general stuffiness) Same goes for Nick and Mike. KT seems to be the only one in the family who has escaped seasonal allergies. :)

I actually took something for the first time last night. It's a generic for Sudafed. I get light headed too. I didn't realize that the sore throat is because of that, too. And it rained most of the weekend. Isn't it supposed to be better when it rains? Although the sun came out about 3:00 and that's when it all started. I hate getting old and coming up with these illnesses that you never had before. Ahh, to be young again. Skinny and carefree.

Amanda,

I think Pam probably answered your questions about OKW but I'll put my 2 cents in too. We stayed in a 1-bedroom villa in Sept. '04 that was close to the hospitality house. It was a great location. The main pool was closed for rehab then but we were close to one of the other pools. We ALWAYS took the buses & never had a problem. We were the last pick-up in the morning so that was nice. We never had to wait long. We were the last drop-off in the evenings but that was ok.

From this map http://www.wdwinfo.com/resortmaps/okwmap.htm, it looks like we were in building 18. It was a little walk to the hospitality house but VERY doable. I think it looks longer on the map than it really was. We did it a few times. We were right across from the bus stop. I would definitely request that location again.

And the boots with the formal won't be obvious? :lmao:

That would be nothing compared to some of the get-ups you see at a 'Denim & Diamonds' (Circa Clinton era) :rotfl2: Some people took it way too far!!

Hi Sandi - I was thinking of keeping the car until Saturday morning, too. How do you get back to the hotel from Budget then? Do you have to take a cab? Maybe both of our DHs can share a cab back to the hotel. We're both on the 10:00 shuttle, right? Or will you be returning the car?

BTW - what time is everyone meeting at JB's?
