No, we'll be at Sea World on Wed., no particular plans for Thurs. (maybe hang out a DTD) and will drive over and explore Canaveral National Seashore before checking in to the Radisson Friday.

well shucks! Maybe we can meet up at DTD..there is one day that Taylor is doing to BibbidyBopidy salon in DTD but I cant recall what day it is. Will DTD be a day time trip for yall or an evening trip? I would love to get the boys together, face to face, pre cruise

Amanda - I would definately ask for a 1st floor room. We've stayed at OKw twice. First time we were on a 3rd floor room in a non elevator building (I think only a few of the new ones have elevators). Going up those stairs after a long day is hard. Last time we stayed we were on the ground floor and loved it. It is a great resort, but I still prefer my Boardwalk home.

Yes request close to where the old Hospitality House was. This is my favorite area too. Belong at OKW since ground floor and love the resort. There are several bus stops and everything is easy to find. We usally stay in a two bedroom. There are a couple buildings that have elevators close in but the rest will be steps so if you need ground floor request it. Have a great time. Won't be back to OKW till December in Grand Villa and already having withdrawl because have gone every year since owning the first or second week of May for flower festival and Mother's day. DD thinks we just go for her birthday as she has never celebrated anywhere else. Have a great time and have a "Turtle Krawl" drink for me from Gurgling Suitcase if you want a nice drink. One is all you need. ENJOY

Thank you so much! One other question. We will be on the dining plan. Is there a good on site restaurant? If so, is it something we can just walk up to, or does it need ADRs? I hate ADRs because I do not plan like that. We kinda just go where the wind takes us.

Thanks Mike -- I purchased some online this morning from drugstore dot com. It was the same price as on the Safe Sea site, but I didn't have to pay for shipping or tax. They also had a good price on the sunscreen I purchase, so I can scratch those things off my list now too!

I forgot to tell you all! When I went to my DBs house in Destin last weekend, we took a ride up to Silver Sands outlet stores! they have a Disney Store now (like in Orlando) and there was actually DCL tees there! I have never seen DCL stuff at the outlets in Orlando! I picked the kids up a coupla tees and myself and DH one

Amanda -- you might try eating at captain jacks at DTD. They are on the dining plan and I ate there twice on my last trip. The lobster was great and the clam chowder was some of the best I have had. They don't take adr's there.

We are leaving on the 19th...we are checking in at OKW on the 20th. It will be the 1st time we have stayed there....does anyone have any tips as to what to request? or what not?

The only request I would make at OKW is to not be near the main road. There are some in the back that can get a bit noisy. There are buildings we like, but I don't know if they even take those kind of requests anymore. I do usually ask for a quiet building.
