DH called - he's on his way home and done with classes!!! I think I'm more excited than he is...of course, he's got his final papers to write and hand in, so he's not totally done... Which may be tempering his enthusiasm...

WTG JOHN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cool1:

I usually like her books because of the forensic details, as well as the relationship development between the other characters, but there was not much of that at all...

I totally agree......Thats exactly what it was missing!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't even remember the increased Marino attitude thingand the animosity between the other people at the academy...that really wasn't developed much at all... He was always protective of Scarpetta - but, I don't remember him being a jerk...That character change was a huge leap...

OK so I am not crazy! Thanks Monica. My friend kept telling me that this one was so much better than "trace" and that it had a surprise ending???? I finished and was like o-kay....

As of right now, I've got about 13% of today's posts...I'm trying to do my part...

Maybe she liked it because is wasn't as intense, descriptive or as creepy as her others.... :confused3 A lot more mainstream... :cool1:

the only thing I am worried about, is that I don't see many girls Taylors age..it seems everyone is 11+?? Is she going to feel left out?
Amanda,

My Katie's a 3rd grader. She'd love to start email some with Taylor. There's also Maggie (MickeyMo's DD).

They'll have their own group. I think we'll be at JB's on Friday, how bout ya'll?

Okay someone asked about posts per day to get to goal...looking at reply list, and stopping at Fran...because Juletime and everyone below her do not post much...it looks like we all need to average at least 19 posts per day..and realyl a bit more...as I will not be here the week before cruise because we are heading down to Orlando o the 19th...so we actaully have lesst han a month to go until we begin our vacation! woohoo!

Susan and Monica
Are you going to ket Katie and Maggie join up on the tween/teen thread? If not then lets do emails for sure....Taylor has posted on the thread and said that she thinks all the girls will be great frineds! LOL Then it dawned on me that they are all older then her! LOL Of course last time, she penpaled with a girl her age, then we got on the ship and she actually ended getting along better with her older sister! LOL

yes there are still tickets on ticketmaste, and if not there are some decent tickets on Ebay.....I have even narrowed it down to what section I want to sit at in ATL city

Back to Madonna for a minute..... You KNOW you will regret it if you don't go. Although it would be more fun to have a friend along, I wouldn't be worried about going alone. (but then I grew up in the NYC area so not much scares me :lmao: )

And the only way you should feel guilty about spending that much money is if you had to deprive your children of the essentials of life - say... food or some other absolute 'essential'...... get my drift?!! You work hard and you deserve to do something that's important to *YOU*!!! pixiedust:

PS no JBs for us..to far and I dont care for sea food...plus we will be at WDW on the dining plan...

I agree. If you're that itching to go and everything's in place, go for it.

As far as Grill's breakfast that'll be more of a warning than a heads up... ;)

Have you ever been to the Allstate Arena in Chicago? Chicago is one of my choices...Is it hard to get around?

Believe me, sitting in class was the 'easy' part for me... it was the sitting in the house, writing yet another paper, when everyone else was out 'playing' that was so tough!!!

He'll be celebrating for real when its all done!!!!! He's in the home stretch now!!!

Not hard at all and it is VERY close to Ohare Airport, you could stay at a number of hotels right near the aiport and be 10-15 mins from it, there's even one that I would not be surprised to have an airport shuttle, that is literally next door to the arena.

If she's also going to United Center, you DO NOT want to go there.

Check out http://www.allstatearena.com they have listings. It's actually not in CHicago proper; it's nw of the city limits a bit.
