I don't think anyone has a perfect body except models.

If you asked them, I'm sure lots would disagree with you....... (all perception)

Ok ... I'm a skinny minnie but I too have problems finding a swimsuit that looks decent on me. I've bought 5 and don't think any look good on me!!! Let's just say ... I may be a skinny minnie but am not well-endowed up top ... so all of these halter-style suits that are so popular this year look HORRIBLE on me. I don't think anyone has a perfect body except models.

I'm Pooh-sized, and I've gotten to the point that I go for comfort in a swimsuit. If I can stand to see myself in the mirror (with the lights dimmed) and it doesn't ride-up and nothing is overflowing, I'll wear it. Not that I want to make anyone lose their lunch when I walk by, but, hey, when am I going to see all of YOU again, anyway :rotfl: :lmao: .

Today is Larry's Saturday, and he said to tell everyone HI. He and DS have a 5-day weekend. He's going to be out dismantling the barn for the next 3 days. Well, actually it will take a lot longer than that, but that's his project for his 'vacation'. His goal is to have most of it down before we cruise and before the 'vultures' start stopping by. Actually they have started driving by and pulling in the drive to ask 'can I have some of that barn siding?'. How RUDE!

We can start a club - you, me Amanda - no sisters....the "siterless club"....."the sisters club".....sounds like a book title....now who would play us in the Movie version which would go on to win Acadamy awards... :teeth:

Ditto here on sisterless - one brother - adopted - I keep asking if he has a money back guarentee... :lmao: Seriously, he's a great guy...

I'd wind up with Carol Burnett playing me - tall and gangly...geez - I'd kill for her Bob Mackie gowns from the show...epecially the curtain rod... :lmao:

Amanda, you do like I do. Wear a robe or something up to the deck, slip it off as you ease into the tub. Quickly, while no one is looking! That's why we're doing this when it's really late, and dark!

You're making it sound like it's the blabbermouth thread initiation swim the catamawhatisit river... :rotfl2:

You've just described me! I HATE buying recreational swimsuits!

Good Morning, Cruisers

Thanks for the good words about dsl. I am not used to the computer moving so fast. And I don't think I could go back to dial-up now. :surfweb: :surfweb:

Welcome, Michele and family.

Have a good day.

Liz :sunny:

Smart girl. Get them early!
I was in the post office Monday and heard a Japanese lady fighting with the PO employees about her passport renewal. She needed it by THURSDAY (yes, 3 days!) She couldn't understand why she couldn't get it back in that amount of time if she paid extra for the "expedited service." The PO employee tried to explain that even with expedited it would be two weeks (instead of eight!)

Thing is, she was just going to Canada. Not like she NEEDS it....yet.

I think there may have been a language barrier. Thing is, her english speaking husband just stood there a step behind her laughing and not helping at all.

checked the passport site - ours is set to be delivered at the end of the month - 6-8 weeks like they promised!

And even then, how much of it is plastic surgery and airbrushing????

You could probably sell the boards for a fortune...

Hi!

This will be my 3rd Disney Cruise. The first one was when I was 13...now I'm 29 and taking my 4 year old!!! I went 4 years ago when I was pregnant and we took a 4 day cruise. It was fun, but my husband was sick most of the time! He says he wants to try it again though, so we have to get some strong seasick meds or something to keep him well.

Eight of us are going on the May 27th cruise. My mom and dad, who are renewing their vows on the ship  ...my sister and her husband, my 16 year old brother...and my husband, my 4 year old son, and ME! We are all so excited...we have been planning, shopping, and dieting like crazy!!! :bounce:

Since I found this board a few days ago, I have learned so many things about DCL and some great tips. Just wanted to introduce myself and say HI to all you guys we are cruising with!!! :)

Michelle princess:

:welcome: Welcome to our little (maybe, not so little) group. But we're harmless, fun and we like to talk a lot. Jump right in. We have less than 7 weeks away before we all meet. Glad you're sailing with us and hope hubby feels better this time. Allow me to introduce myself and family:

Me - Maria
DH - Augie
DS - AJ (10)
DS - Anthony (6)

We're from NY and this is our first DCL cruise. We're ALL going to have a blast.....

Guess I should go to bed now. If I don't, I'll be worthless tomorrow, when I have to present the stuff I was working on!

Have I mentioned lately that I am SO READY for this cruise?? I may stowaway!

Just realized...at least Jay & I get a little R & R. Going to Vegas next Thursday, compliments of the Bellagio. That should be nice.

Stacey - what cruise line did you cruise for the Vegas one? My brother has the same offer and was curious to see which line you cruised? His is from the Hilton though.

Oh, me too. I jumped on this morning, and there were WAY too many pages to get through before I leave for work. :guilty:

Oh, Fran, I'm SO with you on this one. I finally found one I liked at LLBean, and it wasn't a hundred dollars. Now I just need to gather up the nerve to put it on in public!

--Samantha

Samantha - I got mine at LLBean, too. Probably not the same one though.
