And you didn't buy them for him??? Too cute.

Jared and I finished up what we could today. I still have a few things to do at the apartment before I clean it one more time and add furniture. Kinda fun doing that type of work.
He had baseball practice at 3:00, or we'd probably still be there.
Once I get the apartment all fixed up, I may just move there.

And flying fish - Theses were are escorts to the dive site this morning. Despite the early hour, we had 12 to the boat and 3 crew enjoying the beautiful sunrise and FLAT seas. 1-2 feet on the way out...But, we were deterred, after 3 bottlenose swam with us for a ways, a pod of 30 spotted joined our boat for a run up the coast. The captain dropped 3 divers, with cameras, off for a swim and spent time turning and circling so they would stay with us. There were several young, so cute and of course the show-offs....Stumpy was there - so called because his dorsel fin was bitten off....And everywhere were flying fish --- wheee.....

Oh yes, diving....Dove the flower gard and the trench off Palm Beach - both reefs. Visability was 40 on the first dive about 20 on the second. Jima nd Kevin (and Matt if you are lurking, cuse there is not a milestone nearby), it was prob. good that I did not make it into the water with my new gear in the Keys, adjustment trouble. Our dive instructor was with us....tug, tug, pull pull and what the heck is he doing back there....Turns out I do not need the 16 lbs Sam, suggested or the 12 pounds I started with, but only 8...Not sure the BCfits right but at least I am upright...

The reef fish were out in spendor...An 8-10 foot green morrey eel - and my favourite of the day was the spotlifht parrotfish...perhaps Kevin can grace us with a photo....I'll post some of Sam's shots when he uploads them. I did not take the camera - wanted to focus on the new gear...a good idea.

Saw the largest angelfish which was proably a spadfish ever...and schools and schools of ????? yes, fish id is next on the list...Lobster were everywhere, guess they know the season is overm and purple fans waving in the breeze. Stingrays swimming by - way to fast to catch.

The crew was great....The second dive they said the seas were "July" flat, of course it was still cold in the water...And I like the boat..

OK - that was my day, after lunch at Gators and washing dive gear. Yesterday was more gardening, it is coming along...still lots more to do...and watching the game....Yeah Gators...!!! Let us see what you have been up to....but first I will grab a TOP......W :sunny: W - What a Day :thumbsup2

Oh, Marie, I'm so sorry to hear that news. It's good that your SIL will be able to give him the news. While I'm sure it'll be very hard on her, with her background, I'm sure she's familiar with how people react and will be able to help him deal with the news.

Please know that he and your family are in my thoughts.

Maria - I am quoting Samatha;s reply because it had your quote in it and I am reading backwards. Please add our prayers for you and your family. I am sorry to hear that this has happend to your FIL after his treatment....
All I can say is ....remember Lance...it can be beaten....but is is harder than hard....

You are missing who? I can't hear you. I'm still standing at my mailbox waiting for my cookies.

Speaking of which, have not made it into town since Thursday - travel, here there everywhere but the office....

Well, I'd really like to book a fall cruise in 2007, but I'm not allowed. Only one Mom trip per lifetime I guess. We've only got three more years to worry about the kid's school schedule (unless she never leaves us), so that's not so bad.

Any thoughts on where DCL will be cruising in Summer'08? Maybe Alaska, Hawaii?

Diana - bite your tongue - we have it all set - going to Alsaka on DVC points but if DCL goes there in summer or to Hawaii -- oh no.....must read how to exchange points.....

yes maam..
alls im saying though is please no one be offended if I dont say hi im dzneprincess and i am a blabbermouth! but i am betting since we have linked dinner ressies I cant hide! hehehe how does the linking work anyway? Since my family is so large more than likely we will be at our own table, unless since we are linked they will sit us at the BIG table with some of yall..and then I really feel sorry for whoever has to endure that..I hope for all of you that you told stacy via PM that you do not want to sit with us! :rotfl:

They sat us at a talbe for 12 on our January cruise and the kids were already crying....since we knew none of these people and did not realize how cool their kids were when they were not crying, we asked to be moved.....

Sorry if that was you Amanda - we know better now!!!!

I thought that was Celebrity????

Actually there is a new one - Just Cruises - or something...it goes island hopping and you do need to bring sheets and pillowcases and food....but it goes between smaller slands and is very cheap......Great for diving...you can get off at one island and then back on days later.....

I admit it, I cannot keep up - made it to page 2273 and think it is time to ake up Sam so he can fire up the grill for dinner....Later...

Ok, the first run of buttons are DONE! Any submissions after last Friday'll be in the next one :)

Yep... I spent the entire afternoon at the mall in search of the elusive "hot pink gauchos" for Elizabeth's interpretive dance costume for Easter Sunday...

Finally found those, AND the perfect flip-flops for Kevin... don't mind the grainy pic... cell phone cameras aren't the best...

monkeyflipflop.jpg

I think Tarryn will be stealing those, where did you find them?? She has some flip flops with hologram monkeys but always on the search for those darn monkeys!!!

I think the answer is: not anymore than we made ourselves, and really don't mind doing it :)

It's about to get real rough around here shortly, so if you don't see anything from me or Mary for awhile, you'll know why: Chicago Radar

Well I've heard back from Jilliebean and First Times and both of them have cancelled this cruise due to other commitments/conflicts. Still waiting to hear from the others.
