Yes, I'm sure the parks will be busy - but I always go with the philosophy "the more, the merrier!" Maybe we'll see you down there  Have a GREAT trip (I know you will  )

We go with the flow. we dont rush. pretty much go at Dom's pace. If it gets too bad we will leave the parks and go swimming.

I will have green (lime) ribbons on the stoller and on my fanny pack.If i can find the buttons willhave Dis buttons on.;

I am liberated!!!! My little guy has gone to school. He did not have a temp so, off he went. He was fine most of the day yesterday and all last night. No temps. I plan on staying close to the phone just in case the Nurse from school calls. I don't think so though. He wanted to go out and play yesterday around noontime. He's been on the medicine for 48 hours.

So, here I am all alone!!!!! Waaahhoooo!!! What to do first. Check the DISboards, that's right.

Glad he's better and back at school.
:thumbsup2

KT will NOT be pleased. She thinks her next shot will be at her 12 yr well check. Maybe we should just do them all at once and then at her 12 yr check she'll just get checked. I know if she gets shots NOW, she will NOT want shots in a few months!!

Tarryn becomes the monkey when they want her to get shots........she tries to climb the walls, so all the years I have made DH take them but now he doesn't want to anymore - it's too emabarrasing!!!

OK - planning on my end has started to kick into high gear and I'm thinking about doing baskets/pails and mailing them ahead for the kids. Any suggestions on WHAT to put in them? I'm thinkin':

Snorkel gear
Light sticks
disposable cameras
beach toys

What else could I start getting to put in, my guys are 10 & 6?

Disney Beach towels, disney pins

We get the skunks, too...and grumble plenty about them. Especially when we have the cooler on and it brings their lovely scent inside the house. But at least the skunks can't eat my dog. Make his life miserable, maybe!
We had some guy the police were chasing hide in our backyard one day. He hide behind the shrubs above the pool and waterfall. The police didn't care if the criminal thought he was invisible.........

Diana was quite freaked about that one!! :confused3

Not as "profound" as Stacey for my 4000 post, but it will have to do!! :woohoo:

Vacation Update - I booked the trip to St. Thomas to dive in the fall....well, I booked the dive and hotel, thought I booked the airlines, booked the rental car....and then tried to make a charitable donation for a friend...

seems like the credit card company thought that the dive (same card, same shop as last year) was "outside my normal experience" and blocked the card.

So before Jim or Kevin says anything --

This must mean I need to dive more!!!!!!!

All set now....
That's a bummer, but a good thing too. At least the credit card company is looking out for you. Maybe.......

My oldest was like that. Even at 16, one tech had to sit on her (literally!) while the other gave her a shot.
Then she turned 18 and got a tattoo! :sad2:

Leaving to go to the pizza place, and then come home, plant myself on the couch and watch my shows. Good night, all!

Did you ever think about letting Shirley put together your baskets? You could send stuff to her and she'd arrange it in a basket and have it delivered to your stateroom. It would be there when you first get to your stateroom.

If you package the things on your own and have them sent to the ship, they will arrive in a cardboard box.

We had Shirley make the kids a basket for our first cruise and it was amazing!

Your list sounds like fun. Wouldn't getting an arcade card in there somehow be really neat? That probably would require finding a DISer who is sailing soon and having them get you one onboard though.

I have always bought stuff at the disney store and then asked them for boxes and packed them in a rolling overnight bag taken it on the ship and while the kids are at lunch I have gone and put them in the room so when they get there they are there. They have always loved them!!

I just found out about this group, and I realized that I have the three cabins next to Jilliebean. This is our first Disney cruise and we are so excited. DH and I took DS1(9) and DD(7) on a Carnival cruise last year, and we had a great time. This year, we are also taking DS2 (3). We are traveling with some good friends, and we can't wait! I am nervous b/c of age difference with 9,7, and 3. DH is afraid that DS2 will not want to go to club/lab, and maybe he won't behave during meals. I need to learn how to add the countdown so that I can see it! :cheer2:

Welcome!!
