Good Morning!

Another great weeknd for Tampa! I hope everyone else is going to have nice weather this weeekend.

Not much planned. NO GYM TODAY!!!!! That alone makes for a great Saturday.

Don't tell Dave.........but I think it is time to drag out the suitcase, and begin filling out our Walmart list. I'
l'll spring that on him on our walk this morning.....hee hee hee

Yes, I think so! Alan's not sure if he can wait 5 more weeks. He's very much looking forward to the cruise - actually he'd be happy being anywhere away from work! He keeps repeating "we should have got a balcony". I haven't said a word. He is the one that made the booking, I'm sure you remember that! I think that upgrade last year spoiled him. Do you think we could say it is our 20th anniversary again???

I received my black Croc Niles. I keep thinking of the comment many many pages ago about the 9 pairs of black sandals I think this makes 6 or 7 for me. There's something just not quite right about most of them!

I really gotta get some cleaning done.

I just finished Takes Manhattan and requested Ties the Knot. I don't know what book I'll be bringing on the cruise, yet. The library just put a bunch of romance novels on the sale rack. I picked up a few of those (no charge, perk for working at the library); haven't read a good smutty romance lately. Those would be good for the cruise; just read them and toss them (in the trash, not overboard) when I'm done.

And, to delay cleaning further...........
I've read some posts about the resorts being able to check in for your Southwest flights. Does anyone know if you can do so in the parks? Our 24 hours ahead will be about 7pm. Unless we go back to the room for a really late nap I don't think we'll be at the resort. No, we don't have internet access on our phones........I wonder how much one month of it would cost.......

2 weeks- graduation!

3 1/2 weeks- DBF graduation

5 WEEKS- our cruise! I can't wait!

I don't know which one Im more excited about, my graduation or my cruise!

Does it matter? Either way, nice way to celebrate the occasion!!!

I'm trying to figure out what I am going to do AFTER the cruise and my DISing days will probably come to an end. We don't have another cruise or WDW trip planned.

We did the Segway tour a couple of years ago and loved it! If we ever get back to WDW for more than just a long weekend I'd love to book it again.

Karen - I know exactly how you feel. I said the same thing to my DH...you'll have your wife back in 7 weeks. AFTER the cruise.

There's no guarantee of that, the thread from our November 2004 cruise is still going on CC and a lot of us are going on the Alaska cruise.

Good morning---sorry, good afternoon everyone. It's raining here in NY and all sports are cancelled. YEAH!!!

Last night DH and I went to the International Car show at the Javits Center in Manhattan. It was really cool. The Jeep display was typical Jeep. It had a road course that you could go on with the instructor driving. You would go up this really steep hill and the Jeep would go sideways, then over rocks and bumps. DH said that's the way they used to demostrate cars. Now they don't even give away pens or anything. DH is looking into getting a new truck. He's narrowed it down to either the Toyota Tacoma or the Nissan Frontier. Anybody have any comments? Anyway, we had a great time. Just the two of us. Got a babysitter for the boys cause we would'nt have been able to concentrate with them there. And then to top off the evening, we went to the dinner afterward for something to eat. Oh boy. We were out and AWAKE at 11:00pm. That's a feat all in itself.

A couple of pages back you all were talking about see "adult" movies. Anything over a PG-13 rating. Well, I'm taking the boys to see The Wild today along with my neighbors 3 kids. Then tonight all the neighbors are coming over for pizza and some spirits. We have a great neighborhood. Sometimes we look at eachother and say, "We are spending WAY too much time together". But all in all, we have a ball together.

So, after reading page after page on this board, I better get going and take a shower, that's right I said take a shower, and get ready. It's 1:16pm and I am still in my PJs. I am totally lounging today. I would love to stay in my PJs ALL day, but I think the kids would kill eachother.

So, TTFN and I'll try to catch up with you later.

We only did 2 store sessions then ended up with 30 boxes - to many to do another sale, so the girls took a trip to the Ronald McDonald House in Galveston with their pop tabs and donated the rest of the cookies to the House.

Our cookie sales started Jan 20 - so, we're all done....January is a rough time, everyone is on their new year diets...

I know!!! We need to sell these cookies when school starts and then have until December.... prime BDparty and snack mom season!!

Luckily we did not get stuck with any cookies... good thing ... we are a new broke troop. We did much better at the 2 cookies shops we did at .75 a box than at our troop sale at .55 a box. That extra .20 made a difference believe it or not. I am just glad it is over.. and only 5 more meeting till summer break.

Of course I do have to start packing for this cruise... Oh the trials of my life.
